but all time, UK will never have ATG, legend of the sport like Sugar Ray Robinson or Muhammad Ali...

    UK has better fighters currently

America has better ATG fighers AKA GREATER FIGHTERS

Bob Fitzsimmons and Jimmy Wilde would disagree.

(although on the whole the USA does have a lot more high quality fighters)

Greb probably would be in the same sort of tier as Fitzsimmons if higher in that tier. That being said, my point was that Britain has produced fighters in that general region of greatness, although not as many.

For the size of our country, we produce a shitload of talent. Guys like Fitzsimmons, Wilde, Berg, Kid Lewis, Lennox, Welsh, Turpin, Lynch and Driscoll are all ATGs in their respected divisions, if not on a p4p list.

Are there any brits in my top 5 GOAT? No. But i have Fitz at 7 and Wilde in the top 20. So it's not all bad

I`m not interested in what country a fighter is from, all that patriotic bull****... but while we`re on the subject, do you not think the USA having about 5 times as many people as the UK is a big part of having more great fighters ?

The UK has never been known for producing ATG fighters, you`d be as well comparing the USA to countries like Mexico or Puerto Rico, even then you`d have to do it by population, like a p4p thing as America has way more people.

It's better not to feed someone like this guy. Population disparancy is a little lost on people like him. Us in the UK can be proud of the fighters we have produced, and so can the US

Surely Lewis is considered right up there in the heavyweight ATG's?

    You're kidding right?

Khan= p4p worthy, worth bragging about

Carl Froch- p4p worthy, worth bragging about

Cleverly= paper champ, gonna be exposed if he ever fights a live body and a top 5 LHW....but for now he's a paper champ that hasn't beaten one fighter of significance or worldclass status and has struggled with euro level fighters.

Burns= cannon fodder for Rios, Gamboa or Broner

Chisora= beat down by Tyson Fury

Haye= Might come back to run around the ring against Vitali and not even try to KO him while collecting a million dollars, lots of skill (3rd best heavyweight if he tries) but no balls.

Kell Brook= good prospect, we'll see what happens when he steps up the opposition level, I like Kell

Kevin Mitchell= destroyed by Katsidis....write off

Barker, Murray, Macklin, Lee= All contender level MW's but nothing special, luckily they're in a division with the likes of JCC jr and Sturm being champs meaning they have a slight possibilty of picking up a belt.

Groves, Degale= Pretty decent prospects but c'mon son they at 168!!!! it'll be years before they're mixing it up with the top guys there, if they step up sooner they get sonned and shot right back to Euro level.

    now compare that list to:

Floyd Mayweather- best boxer on earth, not debatable

Nonito Donaire- p4p top 5 on most lists

Andre Ward- p4p top 10 on most lists, not mine but definetly worth mention

Brandon Rios- best lightweight besides JMM

Chad Dawson- You guys proly won't rate him as highly as I do but Dawson is a very skilled fighters and has some great wins vs Adamek, Tarver x2, Johnson.....I think he slipped for a while but it looks like he's back and i got a feeling he'll beat Pascal woith ease ina rematch and be back to ruling 175 in no time.

Bradley- he bitched out to Khan and I rate Khan higher but regardless he's a high level operator, never lost, fought some good opponents, unified titles, is on most top 10 p4p lists (not mine but still), hard to pick anyone over him besides Khan at 140 and below

B-Hop- Still champion level, pretty embarassing acting in the Dawson fight which I feel he would have lost but regardless he ust beat Pascal twice and is the oldest champ in history, he'd still beat ust about everyone else at 175

Tavoris Cloud- alright kinda reaching here but he's better than Cleverly

Adrien Broner- the future of the sport, irrefutable....don't tell me different cause i ain't hearing it....brilliant young champ

Berto and Ortiz- a little reraching as well but these guys are worldclass although short of elite.

Mikey Garcia- excellent young contender and future champ, all the goods.

Robert Guerrerro- very good just shy of elite champion level fighter. 3 weight champ, will probably be a 4 weight champ soon.

Austin Trout and James Kirkland- both very good yound 154 pound fighters..... not elite but champion level.

Quillin- better than Lee, Macklin, Murray, Barker

Dirrell- arguably beat Froch, whooped Abraham....possibly short on will and heart but massive in the skill department....verdicts still out on him but potential to be the best SMW based on his skill set

man those lists aren't even comparable......
