Jones wasn't roiding vs Toney. He wasn't buffed out.

vs Hall he did seem to be bigger than he ever was, faster than he ever was, if there were ever going to be a case of a fight where he looked completely different it would be against Hall. I don't think Jones ever looked that physically impressive again so a case could be made he used steroids for that fight.

But if Hall used it too then it does cancel out. It means Jones would have beat him in the same fashion whether he was on steroids or not. And honestly if you are Jones and you know it's legal to use steroids and you know the opponent is on steroids why wouldn't you go on steroids too?

Also what kind of steroids was it? Some over the counter supplements later on got ruled as steroids. I don't consider those supplement steroids but they were pro-hormone supplements which would cause you to test as a steroid user. Find out exactly what kind of steroid he tested positive for to determine if it were growth hormone or just some over the counter supplement.

As always no one ever points out how high Hall tested :

It was an over the counte suppliment that is now banned ..Stop it already ..The man was never punished for it nor did he fail another test again !

What steroid did he test positive for? Both James Toney and Fernando Vargas, they name the exact steroid they tested positive for.

"An anabolic steroid" dont mean ****. You cant say that it wasnt Andro if you cant tell me what steroid it was. When you run a test you find out what exact drug it was. Its science not voodoo magic.

    Hopkins, Toney,R. Johnson,Hill,Tarver.

Also the "appaling" list fo fighters he fought at 175 is made up of guys who were all top 10 fighters at the time. And one who was a top 5 HW at the time.

Eric Harding holds a win over Tarver.

Gonzalez was undefeated and ended Michaelchewskis career.

Clinton Woods went 1-1-1 with a prime Johnson.

Ruiz was a legit champ at the time. He wasnt Lewis obviously but he was prop a top 5 heavyweight.

Had a win over a still dangerous Holyfield, Rahman,Golota. Most of his losses were either SD'd or MD'd in other fighters countries.

Outside of the one round KO Tua got against him,No one ever beat him in a one sided fight like Jones did, right up until Haye got a hold of him when he was at the end of his career, and he fought practically everyone.

So thats not exactly a bad list at light heavy.

I have to disagree with your conclusion.

The andro explanantion is just Jones's explanation. He also had around 3 weeks to come up with an explanation. He also claimed it was due to nasal spray

    No, it was not.

    http://www.aolnews.com/2010/01/06/former-commission-doctor-says-blood-testing-feasable-for-boxing/

He tested positive for an anabolic steroid which the interviewer never asked Hall to name.
    http://www.braggingrightscorner.com/sarajhall1.html
The interviewer should of asked Hall here to identify the steroid, but seems intent on leaving the issue ambigious
He has the results but no one wants to see them and no one wants to know which steroid it actually was.

    http://www.braggingrightscorner.com/sarajhall1.html

The only boxing sites to take any interest in the matter were Braggingrights and Boxingin$ider everyone else ignored it.

They didnt test for it because no one wanted to pay for it. That is why Skip Homansky started the pilot scheme in 2001 to work out the costs. The state of Indiana obviously were not bothered about the costs which is why they were testing much sooner

Hall was 10x the legal limit
What is your source for this? The only person who is qualified to talk about it is Richard Hall (the head of Indiana state athletic commitee) and he says Jones tested positive for an anabolic steroid. Who says it was Ripped Fuel?

The interviewer never asks Hall to identify the steroid and he should have because it would of cleared up all the confusion
What evidence is there that Andro can make you test postive for 6x the legal limit for an anabolic steroid?
