The thread starter is just trying to scrounge ways to make himself feel better after the trashing Ward will put on Froch in a few weeks.

Per capita the UK might have better fighters, but take a look at Royal T-Bag's breakdown above. Just because the British media is much more into their fighters than the U.S. media is into theirs doesn't mean that the British fighters are that much better. For instance, the British media gives a good amount of coverage to Khan and Froch, but I don't think I've ever heard Bradley or Ward mentioned on mainstream sports shows.

America is 300m people and Britian is 60m.

America has always been the top boxing nation but in the past years they seem to be going down a bit and Britian has gotten a lot better.

he moved to America as a young kid and learned to box there. He's an american citizen and fought for USA in the amateurs.

As a young American amateur, Donaire won three national championships: the National Silver Gloves in 1998, National Junior Olympics in 1999, and the National USA Tournament in 2000. He also won the International Junior Olympics in 1999.[11] Donaire's amateur record was 68-8 with 5 TKOs.

divide americas current talent by 3 and they're still ahead of the UK. I'm not hating here, I'm not even American.

Even historically the USA has close to 25 fighters on most peoples top 50 ATG list....the UK has 4.

    :-(
Rios - Mexican, Berto - Hatian, Donaire - Filipino, Mares - Mexican, Guerrero - Mexican

So just Mayweather, Ward, Dawson, Hopkins, Broner, Bradley, Cunningham.

The only one i cant fault is Mayweather, truely the best fighter out there.

Ward is a headbutting hometown *****
Bradley is running scared from Khan
Cunningham just got owned by Hernandez
Broner isnt even important enough to take notice of
    Hopkins bitched out against Dawson
    Dawson got punked by pascal

Haye - Better than any American Heavyweight
Khan - best at light welter
Froch - Argubally the best at super middleweight
Cleverly - one of the best at LHW
Burns - just beat Katsidis without too much trouble
Mitchell - Beat Murray a lot quicker than Rios did recently
Chisora - Just got robbed against a highly ranked HW

I dont think the Us are bud

Just because he lived in America doesn't make him American. He was born in the Philippines and considers himself Filipino.

:rofl:patsch Rios a Mexican? You sure don't know ****! Rios is not considered a Mexican by real Mexican's, he is more of a "pocho" to them than a Mexican. Rios and Guerrero are Mexican-Americans, born in the US with Mexican heritage!

Now Mares, I won't argue with you.
