if there's enough concrete to do significant damage to his opponents, his hands are probably the first to get damaged. wraps' main function is to protect the metacarpus which is much weaker than the skull as well as the body's main bones. moreover, the boxing gloves cushions the impact while the wraps between the concrete and the fingers doesn't so much. this is one of the biggest misconceptions in boxing

Its quite simple, Floyd will hit and move to the side, run, etc. basically what Cotto was doing but better. That is the way you beat Margarito since he just goes in a straight line. Thankfully this fight won't get made, Margarito is done. This fight should have happened when Margarito was "hot" at 147lbs bu then again who knows if he was using the plaster since then.
