hes been boxing for a long long time and has fought many title fights and held titles and lost and won big fights

he is definitely wearing down

he might as well hang em up, maybe he could secure a Canelo fight in Mexico while they are still pitting him in with guys who are over matched

 

He'll "box" if he can get licensed and he'll still never do anything of importance. He'll get butchered and blinded like only the most idiotic millionaire would. By "box" I mean walk his face into punches round after round throwing a bunch of slow punches on the off chance they hit something until his eye swells up and they call the fight. If that's what you want to call boxing, I mean.

 

Margarito will retire after he gets a handful of stoppage losses. Plaster aside, he's going to be remembered as one of those really durable fighters with workmanlike approach whose punch resistance failed him later on after years and years of continuous, and sometimes brutal, punishment. His eye is going to be in really bad shape later on in his life.
