Kirkland vs Margarito @ 154

Fighters who can box better and have a massive speed advantage over Tony beat him. Kirkland can't box better and given his absolutely disgraceful Glass Jaw there's no way he can stand head-to-head with him and win by trading even though he could conceivably land four to Tony's one.

 

Mosley already proved this.

 

This is how I see it.

 

Margarito get's KTFO, I don't care how great his chin is, when he gets hit flush over and over again by kirkland, his chin won't hold up. And at 154 margarito doesn't hit as hard and isn't strong enough to compete.

And last but not least, Margarito's a bum.

So many of you are letting your hatred for that disgrace Margacheato completely override commonsense. Kirkland fights with a face-first style devoid of all subtlety and defense. Margacheato does, as well. When two guys are going to stand flat-footed in the center of the ring, nose-to-nose, and trade shots are you REALLY going to take the guy who was sparked out in one round and dropped by a jab from a feather fisted Japanese dude or are you going to take the Iron Chinned Warrior who has only been finished by nine rounds of brutalization? Really, yes, Margacheato's eye could swell. His eye isn't going to swell badly enough to stop the fight before Kirkland's abysmal Fragile Glass Mandible is shattered into pieces across the mat.

 

I'm going to choose the naturally bigger, stronger, fresher harder punching, younger & faster fighter...James Kirkland, Margarito not only is tailor made for jk, he is also ****ing done, he's slow doesn't counter, defends punches with his face, starts slow, career welter-weight, shot, bad eye & can't fight going backwards which he will be going against jk....

Margarito has a decent chin but that doesn't always win fights as evident by his 8 losses, I would absolutely bet every dime I have that James gives Margarito a violent beating, without having to be worried about being hit with a punch he doesn't see by the very slow and non-countering Margarito, I'm sure jk wouldn't be ko'ed...

Kirkland is a ****ing minotaur man. But hes not hard to find either I think stylistically bad for Margarito and Kirkland as explosive as he is takes his time and sets his shots up which really impressed me. I dont see how Margarito can win this James is in his prime holds too many advantages. Unless Margo stops him early he does have a real deceiving right hand that doesnt look dangerous but it does. He doesn't need slick countering, he just needs to eat one of Kirkland's shots, stay in the pocket and return fire, and Kirkland's disgraceful Chin handles the rest. If Kirkland had any semblance of a Chin I would definitely take him because he is a far better fighter than Margacheato, but he has no Chin. None. Neither man backs up ha....Margarito was walked down by a welter-weight Shane Mosely the entire fight so I'm positive that jk will walk him down and stop him too, that's just my opinion, Margarito's best win is over Cotto who isn't all that great imo and even he just got revenge over a shot, powerless Margarito...

Tony looked like **** in his comeback fight after Mosely against a E-level fighter, he got destroyed by Pac and humiliated by the man who was once deemed as his *****, I don't favor Tony over any top ten 154lber at this point, jk took on and ko'ed Angulo who has similar traits of Margarito, Tony is a bum who is a known plaster cheat, his career is ****ing done...
