Even if it's not official yet, I believed it breaks the 1 million mark, do you agree? Hope you will answer this. ;)

yes i believe it goes over 1 mil but i dont think it made 1.5, that fight barely had any buzz when it came casual fans. but if it did reach 1.5 that would be impressive but i rather hear it from somebody like dan rafael, not bob arum

Even if those numbers were unofficial, if some boxing journalist leaked a certain number then most probably it's in that region plus or minus 200k.

So most probably PAC has 2 fights this year alone that breach the 1 million PPV buys mark. That's amazing.

Actually the 1.5 number is from Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports.

Iole >>> Rafael, do you agree? ;)

So it's already a lock that Pacquiao sets a PPV record as the only boxer in PPV history to reach the 1 million PPV buys for a fight in 4 straight years!!

That's good, congrats to Pac. But still doesn't make him the biggest draw in the sport. Nonetheless, still a great accomplishment.

And they still don't want to fight Mayweather...so who really cares?

It just means that greedy Arum is making more money.

Dan "don't know **** about boxing" and ESPN is irrelevant in the boxing world. Any of Oscar's other fights come CLOSE to the one with Floyd? And, since when has Shane ever been a big PPV draw?

So it was all De La Hoya then ? It was he who pulled 2.4 million people ?
The truth is that Floyd promoted the **** out of that fight. He was the perfect bad boy. The villain.

By the way, it´s not how much PPV´s you sell, it´s how much money you generate and how much money you take home.
Floyd generates more and takes home more.
