I always felt he'd have the beating of both in the pro game. Not saying he walks all over them or is a standard above, but I do think he had the making of a better pro boxer..

 

his parents think it was murder, they can't accept that he killed himself which is very likely to be what happened. there are many possible reasons - his ex girlfriend had a kid with one of his mates, he was supposedly gay (allegation). I tend to agree with the later

 

i was looking really forward to following darrens career as im sure it would have been a very successful one . It was not only a great loss to his family but boxing too. r.i.p darren

Have heard same as what Livra said, not nice to think off and he's put it bluntly which will rile people but tbf to Livra it's been said a few times.

 

In his last fight he looked pretty poor, but maybe it was an off night and could of been depressed in the run upto the fight. He was a talented lad who would have been very suited to the pro ranks. Such a shame

although lirva's but it rather bluntly and it isn't a fact, even if he was gay wouldn't and shouldn't affect my opinion on him in anyway whatsoever nothing wrong with being gay, in fact it would make it all the sadder for me thinking that he took his own life because he couldn't be who he was for whatever reason
