He looks pretty good at 240 but losing another 10 pounds could only do him good it would enable him to keep a good pace for 12 what do you think?
i feel the same about solis and perez, no reason for them to come in above 230 imo, cant see that having that extra weight helps past the second round, if you havent blasted them out it just weighs you down (no pun intended)
Chisora will be a problem for most heavyweights when he's in shape. His workrate is very good and he has a solid chin. Could do with losing a few pounds and i think he will. Put it this way if an in shape Chisora fights Wlad he would put in a better effort then Haye did IMO.
i said this at the time of the haye fight (and so did wlad) - got laughed at on this forum by the usual mugs i gave chisora a genuine chance vs wlad. he landed a lot of leather vs fury and helenius and his style is suited to fighting big guys. wlad would have his hands full with chisora and so would vitali
:good Pretty sure I said the same thing on here only to get laughed at. Not that I think Chisora would beat Wlad btw. But it's just that stylistically he'd probably stand more of a chance.
i had money on him when the fight was made! which i never tried to get back cuz im a lazy ****, i agree didnt think he was a dead cert, but i gave him more than a punchers chance, and hed do better than haye, wlad struggles with people like corrie sanders, sam peter, and chisora is similar so worth a bet i thought and would bet on him again!
And I will go one step further and say that Chisora in shape would stop Haye who can't fight on the inside and needs space that Chisora would not give him. The odds of chisora walking into one are big but I think I would favour him to rough haye up and make the fight his kind of fight. Chisora showed Helenius and Fury absolutely no respect and wouldn't show Haye any either so it would probably end in a stoppage either way
We have to be a bit careful with how we rate Delboy, how well do we rate Helenius?. For me Chisora would put up a better display against Wlad then Haye just because he'd force the issue. I think he'd perform well but he doesn't hit hard enough, doesn't move head well enough to beat a good long range fighter in Wlad.
good shout, his punch power isnt all that to be honest, think its enough to get respect at top level but hes not gonna get many stoppages, maybe a few tkos, i mean he was landing clean on fury and couldnt put him down but pajkic could? tbf ive always thought his head movement was alright and fairly sharp for a man of his build, but recently ive been thinking i was overcompensating for him being out of shape, still decent enough though i think, not in haye's league whos reflexes against wlad were top notch imo
Good post mate, i think his head movements decent but against Wlad needs to be lot better. As well as footwork IMO which he seems to stand right in front of opponent. He's still developing but saturday he showed some progress we'll see how progresses but he's bounced back well from Fury defeat.
