Kirkland vs Margarito @ 154

Kirkland wins via stoppage

 

After a poor showing for 3 out of 4 fights, (hell even the Garcia fight was mediocre) Ill go Kirkland all the way.

 

Just like Angulo was suppose to KO Kirkland...You glass jaw bitches have yet to even get a correct preditions.:-(

Prime vs prime margarito would take it, Kirkland was ko'd in the first round (i thnk it had to do with fighting 3 fights in a short time period) but then he got knocked down by angulo who is a poor version of margartio and punched himself out but now it would be a win for kirkland due to the eye

 

Margarito is far better than Angulo, Angulo hasn't done **** but lose to Kermit Cintron......if you can't get that quitter out of there you don't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Margo. Margo hate is clouding all your judgement. Better chin than Angulo, more eductaed pressure, far better at cutting off the ring, far better angle puncher...... if you think Angulo and Margo are the same I suggest you go study tape son.

 

While Margario is a better fighter than Angulo, its not enough to change the outcome of an encounter with Kirkland simply because hes easy to hit and his chin is no better tnan Angulos. If Mosley can take him out then theres no question that Kirkland can.( and a lot sooner) Kirkland is a lot faster than Margo and hes a natural 154 and just a bigger man. Fighting Kirkland would be just a waste of body parts for Margo. You think his eye is ****ed up, after Kirkland, his whole head will need to be replaced.

 

This man speaks truth. Neither Angulo nor Margacheato have any sort of defensive ability but offensively Margacheato is the far more astute puncher with both combinations and punch selection. His speed, footwork, and Chin are all superior to Angulo's and anyone who thinks that Kirkland is going to outbox Margacheato have obviously never seen the man fight. He's a straight line fighter, he also has no defense, and while he does have speed and pop it won't matter in a match-up where both men take the center of the ring and start trading. Kirkland will hit him and hit him a lot but Margacheato can obviously take a licking and Kirkland most obviously cannot!:roflatsch

If the fight happens I'll be sure to bump this because, while Kirkland is the superior fighter in every category aside from Chin, this fight is Chin-centric and Kirkland can't win in a battle of Mandibular Fortitude.:deal

 

Kirkland does have a suspect chin but he has crazy stamina and a POWERFUL punch! I enjoy watching him scrap.. He's a man about his ****.. unlike your ****** ass!

 

He was on his way to having just that happen but he went into a defensive shell after being flattened in the first thirty seconds and Angulo, being an unschooled puncher, decided to spend every bit of his energy on punching Kirkland's gloves. Had he not punched himself out he would have been scraped off of the floor, yet again.

And again, as Rico and I have expounded upon numerous times, one fight result doesn't change a Chin. Kirkland's Chin is obviously Grade AAA China as evidenced by the fact that he's kissed the mat numerous times and was starched in under a round by a feather fisted Japanese guy. He even visited the mat early in a fight that you nuthuggers and Glass Jaw deniers are using to try and validate his Chin, so no, I don't see how this proves anything. What it proves is that he still possesses a Fragile Glass Mandible and it will be shattered in the future. It's not debatable.

 

You mean with loaded gloves? There is no difference from the todays tony than tony 5-6 years ago. He is slow, stupid, and as ugly as ever. His style of fighting usually last as long as his punch resistance holds up. I think his chin is as good as ever! The guy is a bum now and was a bum back then . . . the guy fights like the walking dead and should have been banned for life after his **** he tried to pull on SSM!

 

This would be similar to the Marg-Mosely fight

Kirkland would back Marg up and outbomb him, all that pressure **** wont work with a banger like Kirkland. Thats more suited to the box and move types like Cotto.

There is always the chance that Kirklands chin might give way, HOWEVER, Margo was never known to be a one punch KO artist and Kirkland does have heart and will get up straight away.

Plus Kirkland beat Angulo who in some ways could be compared to Margo

Kirkland is probably the best puncher Margarito has seen. A guy who probably walks around at 165+ and a real JrMW...Margarito is an arm puncher who was best as a welter. Kirkland might do what Mosley did.
