    Cotto's left hook is going to be far more effective on Kirkland than Margo. I think Kirkland is a really dangerous fight for Cotto, but there still are some question marks on Kirkland's durability against a fairly good puncher like Cotto.

    At the same time to be fair Cotto's stamina might be a big issue against Kirkland as well.

    This Cotto post fight high orgy is hilarious. Cotto beat an injured fighter and people now think this guy is back. Put Cotto in with a real "top" opponent and not some "Top" Rank stooge and he's getting his ass beat. Anyone with decent skill and stamina works Cotto. Kirkland sucks but he has way more heart than Cotto. Cotto's power won't effect Kirkland and by the time his shots would start effecting Kirkland he will already be tired and be in backpeddling mode. Cotto is definetly an overrated fighter. Always has been.

    Your comment about Kirkland being a Lacey wannabe made me pause, because I do see the similarities at this stage in Kirklands career. I think that at this stage now, Kirkland is as good as Lacey ever was and what Lacy had, make him a champion. That being said, Kirkland is still developing and getting better. He will be a more rounded fighter than Lacey and his will to win along with his agressiveness is stronger than Lacey. Mentally, hes a different animal and I see him surpassing everything Lacey achieved.

    Cotto shatters his Glass Jaw. Kirkland has no defense or boxing ability and he can't take the breeze off of a punch on his Fragile Glass Mandible. Cotto befuddles him with lateral movement and KOs him with the first solid punch that lands.

    That is nothing compared to Kirkland orgy after bouncing back from being KOed by a 9 KO boxer Ishida by beating taxicab drivers back to back to back to back.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    Kirkland has one of the worst Glass Jaws I've ever seen in 20+ years of watching boxing. If Cotto lands he's probably going to be KOed because, unlike Angulo, Cotto is a disciplined boxer and won't expend all of his reserves hitting gloves. Kirkland has no Chin. None.:deal

    You are too logical.

    Kirkland was in lala-land after a jab by Ishida and they are still in denial.

    The difference apparently is that Anne Wolf makes Kirkland chin stronger.

    Kirkland is a poorman's version of Jeff Lacy.

    I agree with this very much; if Cotto can survive an early assault, I believe Kirkland will get sloppier and sloppier and Cotto's accuracy from the outside and the inside will take over. He can and will hurt Kirkland, given the chance. Fun fight.

    Cotto is too slow and he does not handle pressure very well. Cotto fights in spurts while Kirkland goes full blast non stop. Cotto may drop him but Kirkland is bigger and stronger and Cotto just cant get on his toes and box his way out of this beatdown. His defense won't hold up either.

    Kirkland is a big puncher, but his chin is still his weakest point. If Cotto is able to avoid getting hit with some big shots early on, then he boxes and knocks Kirkland out. In my opinion all Kirkland has is a puncher's chance.

    There's not a 154lber around right now who hits harder than Kirkland. I have little doubt that Cotto would not be able to box for 12 rounds without getting touched and once he was touched he'd be in trouble. Even the Margarito rematch he was dominating but Margarito starting getting Cotto in rd 9.

    No doubt he is a big puncher, but there is no way that Kirkland pressures Kirkland like Margarito, because in doing so he would get caught by some big punches. Unlike Margarito, Kirkland can't take those punches.
