How do you figure Gander? Please explain how Manny has the right style. Don't tell me bc he is Southpaw bc Floyd has won all but 3 or 4 combined against 7 Southpaws in his career and those 3 rounds that he lost all came against Judah who actually knew Floyd very well inside that ring from years of sparring in the gym together and Judah has a slick style and fast hands. Please explain.

A good trainer tells his fighter what to look out for and what to expect in certain situations, but ultimately its up to the fighter to be heads up and execute a gameplan to counteract what he expects the other side to do.

I believe Pacquiao does an exellent job of executing specific plans that Roach lays out for him.
Where Pacquiao falls short is in making in ring adjustments on his own inside the ring when the action is happening and the original plan is'nt going to script.

.......to be fair to Pacquiao though, there have'nt been too many fighters the caliber of Marquez, Morales, Mayweather.....who truly know the ring landscape and can audibleize on their own.

Floyd is not an aggresive counterpuncher which will be his downfall against Pac

They both fight with intelligence and with a brain.

This was the nail in the coffin what made me believe without a shadow of a doubt pac is not intelligent enough to beat someone like floyd.

His excuse for losing to marquez was this.

" He did nothing in the entire 12 rounds but run away, wait for me to attack and counter punch"

Someone tell pac this is smart boxing:rofl

Notice the closer the fight gets the less bravado you get from the Pacman camp. Even Freddie senses a Money Mayweather ass-whoop[n a comin.......

Roach is right when he says Marquez takes more chances than Mayweather - I think he's hoping that Pacquiao can outwork Floyd by throwing a gazillion punches and using constant pressure thus keeping Floyd in his shell. Easier said than done. Pacquiao had better be in top shape and ready to make adjustments; if Mayweather does go behind through getting outworked, I expect him to change up and start squaring up to his smaller opponent. We'll see (I hope).

But Roach knows full well this won't work on floyd, the reason pac hesitated to throw punches against marquez was he knew something was coming right back, pac is gonna have to lead against mayweather all mayweather has to do is to time pac's off balance combos and he could easily put pac on his ass.

If it happens, Pacquiao getting clowned by Mayweather is inevitable.

Skill is what will win Mayweather the fight, but the key factor I sensed from watching Marquez against both Pacquiao and Mayweather is Mayweather is by far the quicker fighter.
Mayweathers ability to see an opening and reflexively get his shot off is insane.
Pacquiao is'nt even in the same ballpark to that kind of quickness where you see an opening and are able to get the shot off the split second you see it.

Not in the last 5 years. He's had more than a few moments of clarity with ad******g to numerous styles. Starting with the Diaz fight!
