Got to love Froch even if he down 11 rounds he'l come out fighting for his life in the 12th. If Ward takes this easy id have him way up the p4p rankings.
If Ward beats Froch handily, i wouldn't have no problem putting him in the top 5. Froch Kessler Abraham Bika Green Miranda That's a pretty impressive run.
Believe me Ward won't be taking anything easy. People who believe Ward will comfortably win are deluded. People are overrating Ward and underrating Carl. I believe Carl wins this by keeping it long and frustrating Ward with the Jab. Ward hasn't been in as many tough fights like Carl has and I'm not sold on Wards ability to deal with being in a tight spot. My prediction is Carl Froch close MD or late stoppage. The key is to break Wards spirit, Ward thrives on being the man in control, I'm not sure he can keep composure if he isnt, and I've got a feeling Ward could mentally break down late in the fight if Carl can impose himelf upon Ward.
i have a fealing it will end in a suprising manner, if Froch can get to him early i think he can knock him out, but if Ward maneges to keep his distence past the 6th or 7th round he will frustrate Froch and the wild punches will start with a lot of misses. in that case Ward will win on point with a frustrated froch doing everythin possible to get to him hence missing a lot and opening himself up for counters. almost forgot...Bute of corse should be next.
Yes I did, I must have been half drunk when I read your post. I couldn't believe it was gonna be 'B' for you after reading some of your other posts, and rightly so. It's all good, my bad for expanding maybe a bit too much on the rewording part :?
Ward UD and with Froch pretty busted up. But Froch will push him back and make him work, and will get some rounds. Ward though is more skilled, faster, puts his shots together better and has a superior jab. Froch is also easier to hit. Basically Froch has to drag him into a war and avoid the head, but not allow Ward room to fight off the jab.
Ward's goal will be to counter Froch's aggressivity with speed and, well, timing/counters, and might switch stances quite often during the fight. Like I said in the initial Ward/Froch poll thread, I still see a 20% chance of Froch late KO/TKO considering stamina, attitude in the ring, accumulated frustration over counters, etc. If Froch loses, and with Bute in attendance, we might hear some more classy trash talk. :yep
