First off Bute would destroy Hopkins. A terrible matchup for him at anytime, even Hopkins fans would agreew with that. Where did Hopkins say this though? If he's going to fight anybody, how bout fighting Dawson, and not bitching out this time.
rule number one...give respect to the king - nomatter what stage of his career he is at. dawson and bute are chumps compared to hopkins until they prove otherwise
There is nothing Hopkins has anymore that could even remotely trouble Bute, except some dirty tactics, which he is known for. He should fight Dawson though, what he did in that fight was such ****. He has been doing stuff like that for years to fighters, and somebody does it to him, and he immediately quits.

Interesting fight. I like Bute because of his youth, handspeed, and ability to get Bernard's attention with his punching power. Bute is not a crushing puncher, but he hits about as hard as anyone out there in the 168-175 range and has more than enough pop to keep Hopkins honest.
