Should the winner of super six fight Bute for the undisputed crown?

Im glad a Bute Fan Agrees with this.. Cause I do.. and Im sure Ward's camp does as well

Sorry to offend if I do, but Frochy has and always had ordinary boxing skills. Not bad but not anywhere as good as some and mainly himself think.

 

Why the hell should Ward fight Kessler again before he fights Bute, provided he wins the S6 ?

Makes no sense...he clearly outboxed Kessler the first time around, headbutts or none. No need to have that fight done before the Bute fight.

 

so bute should fight a kessler or froch to earn his crack at the title, assuming ward wins (which he should).

thats generous to bute since he's done **** all but fair because its an interesting fight if bute gets past the likes of froch

 

Frochs got a decent skillset and he can box if wants to. hes been a highly decorated amateur as well. he looks awkward and not as fluent as Bute for example thats why ppl tend to underrate him. first rounds against Kessler, he fought on the backfoot, tried to keep the distance and it looked like he was winning the fight. obviously he couldn't stick to that plan. they just fought it out and he got beat. but hes always feinting, always able to surprise an opponent with his attacks to gain a momentum. hes difficult to handle, hes no textbook type fighter and I wouldn't describe him as ordinary

 

How did Bute "end-run around the process"? Not to sound like a broken record, but HE WASN'T INVITED.

And what has anyone else at 168 done to deserve to fight the winner either? Maybe a Kessler rematch would be fine (although I have little interest in seeing a Ward-Kessler rematch), but other than that, it's not like someone else is more deserving. Other than a mandatory (Mendy) and a decent name (Miranda), every so-called "bum" Bute has fought since the start of the Super 6 has been top 10 at 168 at the time he fought them. That's hard to do when half of the top 10 contractually isn't allowed to fight you, and one other just flat out refuses to do so.

 

Bute already beat one of the super 6 semi-finalists. He signed to fight Pavlik, who then pulled out. And Kessler has shown no interest in fighting Bute. There was a lot of he-said she-said going on with the two of them, but it doesn't seem like either camp was telling the truth and it seems equally doubtful that either camp wanted the fight for the amount of money that actually was available.

 

so what you're saying is pavlik, a legit MW champ who didnt sign to fight bute, and kessler - who did fight in the super 6 until he had an eye injury, but fought calzaghe (the legit SMW champ) - are the reason why bute hasn't anted up yet...but wants a free pass to fight the winner?

 

Ohly problem is Kessler faces Stieglitz at the same time Bute-super 6 loser can face eachother.

 

I dont mind this either. But cant see it happening, if it does, all the better.

 

They should fight eventually not because Bute is the rightful challenger but because he skipped out of the tournament. Bute should fight the loser of the S6 finals then the winner.

 

Pavlik and Bute was NEVER signed! just one offer was thrown out there of 1.35 mil and % of PPV i assume. as i said before. Pavlik really didnt back out because of Money. He did it because he wasn't Mentally ready to fight Cunningham and was out of shape due to Partying! So instead of Pav coming out and saying Im drinking again. He used Money as and excuse. Which He did have a legit ***** of 1.35mil When U know thats "PEANUTS" compared to what that Venue, PPV were add up to be!

3 mil was never offered to Kessler as a Side note! Its just hear say!
