Why on earth is he doing this?
    he never used too...

I'm a big Khan fan but it annoys the hell out of me...

he should leave that **** to mayweather (who seems to do it alot)

    examples of Khan doing it:
Amir Khan"The thing about Amir Khan is he isn't afraid to fight anyone"
Amir Khan (when asked about hillary clinton): "she knew who amir khan was"

I did a bit of quick googling:

what came up: Narcissism & Illeism

The funny thing is Amir Khan is actually listed on the wiki page: [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illeism[/ame]

There are lots of other examples of sportsmen/woman who do it also (mayweather, Lennox etc)

    traits of Narcissism

No fan of Khan but I'm pretty sure his PR people would have told him to do it. Ricky Hatton and Lennox Lewis used to do it and Froch is always doing it. It's all part of promoting the 'brand'.

Floyd does the exact same thing. Only more than Khan does.

Save your lecture..If you knew boxing you'd know that Khan is simply trying to make money. Speaking of himself in the 3rd person etc is his way of trying to get Floyd's attention. As Mayweather said all roads lead to him. Look at all of the fighters including Khan who has been calling out Floyd. Khan is simply trying to get attention. Let him be.

Often the "we" refers to collective team effort.

Big deal! Hatton, Cotto, Floyd, Pacquiao and many others use "we" all the time.

We're not talking about him saying 'we'. We're talking about when fighters use their name to refer to themselves, as in 'Amir Khan is ready for Floyd'.

Why do you care this much??

Hes a great fighter in the ring. What he gets up to outside it,as long as its legal doesnt really concern me.

In fact in his interviews,he actually comes across quite humble.

But jeesh,I dont understand the hate. Tyson raped someone and bit a hole in someones ear and he doesnt sem to get Khans hate.

Tyson once said he could fill Madison Square garden masterbating. Little bit more arrogant thna this dont ya think?

Jeez I'm not hating... maybe take the time to read what I said

I'm a fan of many boxers and Khan bieng my current favourite - he is the friggin guy who got me following boxing and staying up till the early hours of the morning just to watch pretty much any boxing fights

To say i'm hating him is ridiculous...

and then for you to start 'hating' on Mike Tyson is stupid lmao...

This seems most likely to me, and he's not the first to be told.

"PR people would have told him to do it"

    You learn something new everyday

That's the kind of response I was looking for ...

    Thankyou..

Wow, what a sad day for mankind when a boxer refers to himself in the 3rd person. :-(
