It feels weird for Roach to say something like this in the public to me. He usually seems like a guy who would shrug it off in the public but would say this **** to his fighters behind the doors. Would Bob Arum be interested in a co-promotion risking Rios undefeated record against someone like Khan? Rios vs Bradley is more realistic.
Freddie you may be wrong on this one. Rios doesn't break like Khan did with Maidana and Prescott. Brandon will be on his ass all night, and will get hit, but I guarantee he will out last Khan and in the later rounds will knock Khan out and expose that glass jaw that he has. I hope someone makes that fight. I can imagine the war of words between those two guys and their trainers. Drama all the way, which makes for a great fight. Rios by TKO somewhere between rounds 10-12. Run to the casinos and bet your homes and retirements on this one.
I somewhat agree with this. Rios has the ability to give Khan hell especially on the inside and wear him down in the late rounds. Rios also can fight against all styles including Khans. With that said Khan has to be the favorite at 140 based on his resume and accomplishments there.
Its boxing, anything is possible. But Khan should be able to bust Rios up pretty well, especially @ 140.
