    From Dan Rafael's Twitter :

Good for them. I was curious to see how well (or poorly) this would perform in D.C.

This should be a great fight, Khan has got an exciting style and Peterson is one tough fighter!

Khan is already in the top 5 draws in the USA.

Malignaggi fight did a 5K sell out.
    Maidana fight did 6K.
    Judah fight did 8K.
Peterson fight now does 9K sell out.

Extremely good numbers, considering what so many others draw, like Berto, Bradley etc.

Even the Mayweather-Ortiz fight did about 14K, and most of that crowd was Mexican.

Was shocking how Mares-Agbeko did about 1.5K last week. Horrible.

    Dont forget the opponent factor.

Judah was still a big name and a champion and helped to sell those tix.

Peterson now is the fighting in his hometown and if i am not wrong, Washington is 75% Black!

Come on Laz, Paulie wasn't a sell out if you listen to any journalist that was there and any fight in Vegas that says 6k means about 2k paid, same for Judah fight. As for this weekend I think Peterson and Mitchell may have had a part to play

Paulie was a sell-out. If not, it was off by a couple hundred.

    Vegas wasn't a 2K sell. It was about 5K, and 2K comps.

Of course, but that doesn't mean Khan doesn't contribute. Maidana fight was Pro-Khan, Judah fight was Pro-Khan, Malignaggi was 50-50.
