Dawson deserves the chance, no doubt. But I dont think he will get it. I never believed Hopkins injury to begin with. Remember Hopkins wanted a DQ win. Hopkins wanted timeout against Echoles, wanted timeout against Calzaghe, wanted timeout against Jones Jnr and couldnt continue against R Allen at first ask.
Fake or not, hopkins went out like a ***** that night. and not rematching dawson in favor of bute is just reaffirming he wants no part of dawson, which is reasonable given how old he is and how good dawson is. I would love to see dawson, vs cloud and then rematch pascal. i think he wins those fights along with fights against bute and the winner of the super 6.

When a recent oppoent complaines about something like this. I normaly take it with a grain of salt. However being that this is Hopkins we are talking about a man who will look for any way to win including faking an injury or being hit by an illigell blow. I think Scully is probbly right.
