Hopkins would carry on with the fight against 99% of boxers in the LHW division, like Jean Pascal. Chad Dawson put the fear of LOSING in ol' Bernie, however. :deal

Dawson deserves the chance, no doubt. But I dont think he will get it.
I never believed Hopkins injury to begin with.
Remember Hopkins wanted a DQ win.
Hopkins wanted timeout against Echoles, wanted timeout against Calzaghe, wanted timeout against Jones Jnr and couldnt continue against R Allen at first ask.

Fake or not, hopkins went out like a ***** that night. and not rematching dawson in favor of bute is just reaffirming he wants no part of dawson, which is reasonable given how old he is and how good dawson is. I would love to see dawson, vs cloud and then rematch pascal. i think he wins those fights along with fights against bute and the winner of the super 6.

:rofl oh you chad dawson fans are so cute you completely ignore the fact that the Pascal guy you parody is the same guy who dawson ran against

And everything I have read according to the type of injury Hopkins said he suffered he should still have some disconfort ..Not sure if he should be ready for sparring from what I have seen ..

Chad Dawson was getting in Jean's ass, and they stopped it on cuts. Jean Pascal is just an explosive creature of bad habits, he'll explode, take 30second breathers, explode, take 30second breathers.

Chad wasn't letting him take breathers in that last round. Jean was breaking down.

Scully is a sincere guy, but one only need to use their own eyes to see Hopkins wanted out. Chad Dawson wasn't what he thought Chad would be, he was something very different, an animal. Hopkins was expecting a tamed young punk, and got a hungry lion.

    He didn't want NONE.

And the fact that he is challenging a super middle is more proof that he doesn't want any part of Bad Chad .

the on and off again Hop band wagoners .

One minute they love him when he wins ,
then they hate him when he wines,
then again he is the greatest with a win,
and again he is a ***** cause of the wine.

    so annoying ... as he is #1 ( pound 4 year )

When a recent oppoent complaines about something like this. I normaly take it with a grain of salt. However being that this is Hopkins we are talking about a man who will look for any way to win including faking an injury or being hit by an illigell blow. I think Scully is probbly right.
