I have a lot of respect for both of them... but would never pay for one of their fight.

 

decent heavyweights , best of the era by a mile ,

but vastly overated by thier fans who give them way too high placings in the ATG pantheon.

so for me its the fans fault why i dont like them as much as I might - theres always some fanboy claiming vitali won a moral victory over Lewis or that wlad owns ali on the best night the greatest ever had.

That's HBO's fault. No fighter should adapt the way they would otherwise fight because a network pushes a fight to an abnormal degree. That's just ludicrous.

 

It's only one-way entertainment though. Shaunster (amongst others) comes up with some cracking stuff but the best the Klit-lickers can come up with is 'pizza face' and 'David Gaye'. It's like mocking a 5 year old sometimes, except the average 5 year old knows Lewis TKO6.

 

Well, the argument is that Wlad hasn't been given a chance which is obviously wrong for the reason I just said.

And HBO are in the entertainment business. If a fighter wants to attract a following on HBO, they'd better show up and fight. If not, they'll be dislike which is exactly the point of this thread.
