is it too late for miguel cotto to go down as an ATG

Its not to late, beat canelo + sergio at 160 and I think he is in.

No it isn't at all. And he only needs two fights. He avenges the Pac defeat and beats Martinez for the MW title, he'll have as much claim as Mayweather and Pac to being an ATG from this era.

 

He'd have to have 3 or 4 spectacular wins to make it into the top 100. He has a HOF resume and career, but there have been so many great and accomplished fighters that it would be hard to reasonably fit him in without a few dominant and landscape-altering victories.

Regardless, people will remember him as one of the most accomplished of his time and a tough fight for nearly anyone in his prime.

 

Agreeded Cotto has two avenge the lost to manny and if he wins the

mw title from martinez its gonna be tough to put pac above cotto in

this era. But i would like to see Cotto vs Mayweather as well

 

I think beating manny or floyd alone is enough at this point.

Cotto's not an ATG caliber fighter. That's not to say that he isn't one of the standouts of this era or a warrior, but he's just not on that level.
