Man, if Scully wants Chad to get in there with Nard again, just ask, plead 4 that and stop with these conspiracy theories just cause Hopkins has options other than Chad... But at the same time they don't want a rematch, let the WBC and the Ring Mag demand for that rematch and let's c if Nard turns his back to the comission and the mag.

The WBC will end up stripping Hopkins before they force him to do anything ..

This sums it up, we didn't see a full 2 rounds but from what we saw (Dawson slowly moving towards Hopkins and missing most of what he threw) we can deduce that Hopkins was being 'outmuscled' and wanted to quit :nut

And :patsch the fish saying he's avoiding a Dawson rematch, you must be forgetting it was Dawson who said he didn't want a rematch with Hopkins, he said it TWICE once in the interview after the fight and once at the post fight presser (he'll be 47 by then nah nah)

But it's all good, because you can get knocked down twice in 3 rounds and come to back to win a fight (on most peoples cards) but not getting hit with a legit shot for almost 2 rounds will make you quit :lol::patsch

    **** the haters, Nard's still a G

I think we have very different opinions on what a G is !

A G doesn't throw himself on the ground and act like a baby in a boxing match , nor does he look for a way out of a fight,a G also does not avoid a rematch for a pay check when its clear thats what G should do !

Wait a second here. Hops clearly told the ref he will fight with one arm! The ref is the one who stopped the fight. Hops did not say he can't go on. HE said he will go on with one arm.

Hops IS a G. Dawson is a fukin punk that needs to respect his legendary elders.

What rematch? the one dawson said he never wanted? not only did he say he DID NOT WANT THE REMATCH on two seperate occasions his promotor Gary Shaw said they'd rather give up the belts before taking a rematch :patsch:patsch

    While Hopkins on his own twitter said;

"“Thanks to the WBC and Ring Magazine for making the right decision, California Athletic Commission will follow through and make it a no contest. I want a rematch to prove I am the man and Chad Dawson ain’t s*** but a sucker!. Chad talked all that s*** after the fight was stopped. I hit that ho with a body shot and I heard the air come out of him…A quitter? An actor? Come on I would be KO’d first.”"

Facts ^^ not opinions, everything i've said can be verified, while allegations like 'he threw himself down' can not infact they can be refuted by video evidence of Dawson landing his now signature hook leg takedown.

Yeah and I believe he wanted a rematch just like I believed that he would produce an MRI of that so called injury .

There was no way he was faking the injury.

Hopkins has been around to long to let one round of little to nothing get to him.

What got to him was a single leg in a boxing bout that caused him to land wrong and injure himself.

**** should've been a DQ since it was clearyl intentional.

    Dawson is the *****.

He tried that same **** on Pascal when he got rocked.

And he was the best commentator ESPN has ever had. The guy keeps it real. I respect John Scully's words a lot more than Bernard Hopkins, who's statements most of the time are riddled with bias and racial overtones.

I'm glad the boxing commssion wasn't fooled by the corruption of the WBC and GBP in overturning the fight to a TD. Fight still remains a TKO2 loss to Hopkins. It's a disgrace he still holds the title. Even more proof of how worthless they are today, especially the WBC.

Unless Hopkins told him or somebody else, and the word got to Scully, and reciprocated with complete accuracy; I don't see how Scully would know this?

How ya'll figure this is the case?

    Can you continue?

    Hopkins...."With one arm?"

:lol:Hopkins answered a question with a question, and thats bitching out of the fight.
Nothing was ever wrong with Hopkins, he's back to sparring in January.:deal

All I know is all injuries are exactly the same and medical treatment for them stays exactly the same and Scully is therefore 100% qualified to know these things, because having had an injury to the same part of his body is just as good as a medical degree and having examined the patient, first hand. BHOP has always quit in fights. He's known for quitting when he gets injured-except he never gets injured, because injuries cannot happen to athletes of any kind. This is FACT.

I dont believe that some on this thread, really think that a first

ballot hall of famewho been in with some of the best fighter in the

20 years would fake an injury to getout of a fight with a fighter

who's as mentally tough as a soda can
