Peterson is the best fighter Khan has fought since Maidana so there is a slight chance of an upset, i do think Khan will win though probably 8 rounds to 4 or 9 rounds to 3.

I'd still put Judah as a tougher fight for Khan, as Judah had the punchers chance, whereas Peterson probably lacks the power to trouble this version of Khan.

No wonder the tickets were so cheap. It's a flat arena. The poor mugs who paid $25 aren't going to see ****.

Just to bring up a point, this will be Khan first fight since Khan debut in the U.S of fighting a orthodox boxer, who is a pure boxer counting out pressure fighter Maidana aswell.

Further looking into it Paulie leaves his lead low, and then also leaving out Salita as it was over in a round, last time Khan fought a full fight vs a high guard with 2 hands like Peterson and about the same size was Kotelnik back in 2009.

Another point, Khan fighting his second fight wearing 8oz Reyes Gloves, a puncher Glove, not his Reebok big paded gloves.

First time Khan used Reyes Gloves he had blood coming from Zab's nose and mouth in a few rounds and looked like he was hurting Zab with his shots.

I think fighting with these gloves is a good move, I think Khan will hurt Peterson and stop him inside 9 or 10 rounds.

Or if Peterson makes a mistake of starting slow and Khan catches and hurts him early, Khan won't let him off the hook like Ortiz and Bradley did, Khan will go for the kill.

From Peterson Khan needs to watch out for them looping hooks, Peterson uses them to hurt you, and a fast hook like that can buzz Khan if Peterson times it and Khan don't see it.

I think it seats 9100, so in other words 8600 have been sold.

That reason i would have him fight that way initially is, he's ganna get outworked anyway whether he presses the fight and tries to walk Khan down or plays the counter puncher and tries to set traps. Let's say for arguments sake that dropping a decision is kinda 'inevitable'.

The difference is he has a better chance imo of walking Khan into something by forcing his hand. Khan gives you a lot of opportunities because he flurries. He's the ideal type of guy to punch with. For Peterson to punch with him and get rewarded he has to try and catch him on the end of extended exchanges and that could only be done this way.

He hasn't got the tools to be assertive on the front foot. He would be made to look so pedestrian it wouldn't be funny and increases the chances of getting stopped. Because of the athletic advantages Khan has over him it'd be like a wolf to a blind sheep if he walks him down. He's just outmatched in too many areas.

For me fighters like Peterson, if you send them out to press the fight and they don't get success, they fight HARDER and not SMARTER. The harder he tries the easier it'll be for Khan to get the stoppage.

One thing I like to add, Peterson seems like a very down to earth nice guy, i wish him and his brother all the best in the sport.

It's stories like Peterson which makes boxing great, these guys had nothing now he is fighting for World titles in his hometown, as a Khan fan I still wish him good luck.
