Which stopage was more legitimate: Lewis vs Vitaly ... Cotto vs Margo?

Both i would say, Vitali eye was a hugh mess ive never seen a cut like that ever,

margarito just needs to stop before he's blind in that eye

Or did Cotto knock the cornrows out?

 

Either way.....I thought they were both legit.

I think both might have been able to get a little more fighting in, but the stoppages due to the injuries in both cases were inevitable.

Margo had a better chance of making it thru the whole fight though, before it being stopped.

edit. Obviously the two fights were completely different but certainly both were right to be stopped.

 

Vitali. I thought they should have given him one more round, but it was a pretty bad cut. Margarito's wasn't nearly as bad. I think the only reason they stopped it was because of the Pacquiao fight.

If it was me I would have let both fights go on at least another round. If both Margarito and Vitali wanted to continue, let them! They can die in that ring, that's their choice, no one elses. Fighters have died/had brain damage without any cuts whatsoever, cuts in boxing is a normal thing, damage is pretty much a given in a fight.

Vitali's was much worse anyway, but he wanted to fight on, he was still strong, as was Margarito. I'm not a savage **** but I do like a 100% legit outcome to fights of this magnitude.

I am a huge Vitali supporter but both where legit. Vitali might have won the fight or he might have not, but because of the injury ist was legit.

 

Except Vitali should have gotten a technical decision.

 

No man the cut was caused by a punch so lewis got the tko, which

sucked cause i was screaming for vitali to finish lewis but he didnt

Because he was punched so hard he got badly cut?

That sort of stupid logic would encourage fighters to ask their men in the corner to inflict cuts.
