Seems to be quite a few very talented middleweights out of eastern Europe ready for bigger & better things (i.e. Golovkin, Pirog, Proska).

I've seen very little of any of them but I've been impressed with what I have seen.

Wouldn't have a clue who's the best of them but they're all big threats to the major belt-holders on punching power alone.

Another who comes to mind is Matt Korobov. I haven't seen him fight in ages so perhaps someone who has can give an update on his progress.

Golovkin has always been good, at the amateurs he KO'ed Bute, granted Bute didn't have his Andrade-ref to save him, but still impressive.

What an intersting left he throws. It's sort of halfway between a hook and an uppercut. It must be hard to see coming, and it also puts all of his legs behind it. Nice.

U new to boxing? Look at Simon's facial expression on the canvas, he's smiling like 'WTF is going on?' Doesn't realize he got KTFO. 2 minutes later he's still smiling clueless.

Golovkin was a feared puncher at the amateurs, look at the Bute KO. He delivered this short sweet left hook with lethal perfection. Best pull-counter KO I've seen in years but of course video quality isn't the best.

Tiny venue. Small crowd, and commentators initially talking about anything but the fight in front of them. But having said all that, Golovkin is one hell of a fighter and will continue to be avoided.

    :rofl

Bute fights at mid range. He is always near his opponent and his guard is low. That is not fighting cautious. Look the Dirrell-Froch fight if you want to see a cautious fighter.

Golovkin footwork is not the best of MW. I don't think he can keep up with someone like Martinez. He's like an old Lemieux. He relies on his power too much. His progession seems to have stopped, due to inactivity.

At least, I can write a post without insulting people.

I couldn't care less about an amateur fight from years ago. Golovkin relies on his power just like Lemieux except he's older. Lemieux is 22. I don't see why I would be stupid because I think that. If you don't agree, try to post some arguments. Well, I guess that's over your capacities.

You are the same guy saying Bute beats only bums (when he beat several top ten) and now praises Golovkin because he beat Simon. Too hilarious.

Lujan Simon actually gave kind Arthur a hard fight and IMO was the one to expose his weakness to body shots. Golovkin is so ****in fluid.

That middleweight division is STACKED right now.

    Maybe the deepest out there
    Martinez, Pirog, Sturm, Geale,Lee,Quiilin,Chavez.

SO many good fights thatn could be made there, if the promoters and boxers were willing to do it
