Without Pac, no one would know about JMM now he says he wont fight anyone other than Pac its obvious hes just using Pac's name to get recognition because he wont fight other fighters like morales, khan and all these other guys
It's so obvious he doesn't want to fight anybody else. Why would he fight anybody with talent like Mayweather? He'd lose every round again. Fighting Pac is easy for JMM.
I think he really just wants to retire now. There really is nothing else he can do now. I mean Pac was fighter of the decade and we all saw him get schooled by JMM. The only thing that would seal his career would be the actual W over Pac so the record books have it but the real fans will always know who won that trilogy. I could care less if he fights Pac again. I would be sad to see JMM retire though. To me his style is like watching art.

to jmm's credit...he is a great fighter and he doesnt need any help for recognition... but pac sure made him a big name definitely....
poor marquez still thinking he gave pac a hard time or even won against him by his own doing. pac just made it to look as such to motivate floyd; he could've easily killed him if he wanted to but the thing is he needed marquez to look good in that fight and at the same time he needed to look terrible in that fight. That would be the only way to help floyd find the courage to fight him now. His movement was definately lacking, he tried to look slow and he used the excuse of having cramps so people would not think it was intentional. Pac will really do anything to make the floyd fight possible knowing that would be his next and last fight
the whole point is to use the names of your opponents to get recognition. That's why you have to fight the best.

And rightly so..Marquez is a superior boxer than Manny.Why is Pacquiao getting all the endorsements deals and big time money? It just doesn't make sense.I think that when it all said and done.Marquez will be looked at more highly than the overrated Manny Pacquiao.I love Pacquiao.I appreciate what he does for the peoples.But the truth is what it is.We have to be honest, Marquez >Pacquiao.
Dude, think before u write drivel like this. H2H he matches up well with Pac but that is it. Its okay to believe that JMM "beat" Pac, but to say that JMM is superior overall or anyway greater is just plain biased ignorant ****. JMM cannot duplicate what Pac has accomplished. At the end of the day thats how u gauge a person's historical weight. Do u think JMM for even one minute has a chance to be competitive much less dominate a "shot" mosley, a "one dimensional" Hatton, a "skeletal" Hoya, a "weight-drained" Cotto, or a "slow-as-****" Margo? I put those qualifiers in quotes b/c Pac is judged at a higher standard than JMM; even when he is giving up dimensional advantages to his opponents he still gets criticized.....see, that is a real sign of greatness. Maybe its time to tweak your idea of truth coz in time the consensus will show that---Pac is greater, more exciting, more talented, more deserving of endorsement deals and big time money, and just plain more than JMM period.
