Not yet but Its early days for Amir.

Forget age as people age faster than others, from Tyson being great at 20/21 to Marquez being great in his early 30s.

The best way to analyse two fighters in the same weight class in regard to who has done more, is opposition, number of fights, number of years as a pro.

    Amir Khan 25 age

    July 2005 to Nov 2011 - 6 years and 4 months-

    So far
    27 fights
    26 wins (18 knock outs)
    1 loss (not avenged)

    5 Best wins

    WUD12 M. Maidana 29-1 WBA title
    Wkor5 Z. Judah 41-6 WBA, IBF title
    Wkor11 P. Malignaggi 27-3 WBA title
    Wkor5 M. A. Barrera 65-6
    WUD12 A. Kotelnyk 31-2-1 WBA title

Ricky Hatton (funnily enough Ricky was 25 at his point too)

    Sept 1997 to Jan 2004 - 6 years and 4 months

    34 fights
    34 wins (25 knockouts)

    Best wins

    WUD12 B. Tackie 24-4
    WUD12 V. Phillips 44-7-1
    WUD12 E. Magee 23-2
    Wkor9 A.N. Rios 35-2
    Wkor2 F. Pendlton 47-25-5

How does Khan beat a prime Hatton? Mediocre power, no inside game, porous defence. It's more or less unwinnable for him.

If Peterson had tried to box him he'd have got mauled.

If he'd try to fight on the inside, he'd have got mauled :yep

What last night shows is that, with his quick feet to close the distance, Ricky and Khan on their best nights.....The Hitman is a horrible style for Khan :deal
