Facts for Fanboys whether you like them or not 1) Vitali does not have some kind of indestructible chin... lets see he has been hit solid 2 or 3 times since the lewis fight....and before the lewis fight, its a laughable list of no hopers 2) david Haye has the power to stop him...he hits hard and vitali 40 years old 3) vitali has the power to do the same 4) david haye will have to put himself in the danger zone to land any wicked shots...and if he does..have the balls to follow up and go for a kill 5) vitali will be going forward which way will david be going? alot of ifs....but if haye has learned anything from his 72 punches landed over 36 minutes of "combat" he knows he has to bring it ...its all up to haye...vitali has been doing what he does for a while now..his fight plan dont change....if haye goes for it like he really wants it...he can win, or lose...but wont be any final bell for someone
Good thread. The biggest frustration for me is I can see all those things in Haye and his potential to put up a good fight against either brother, but he dosent seem willing to take the risk and give it everything he has
****, if Haye ever showed up he would be on his knees in no time. I think we would see Haye genuinely afraid.
His balance is ok, it's just that he loads up when he throws the right hand and really puts his body in to it, meaning he can't set himself again as quick. Generally his balance is fine.
thing is if/when haye hurts vitali he will be all over him and surely drop the big man.. vitali has a very good chin but it is no shame in getting hurt when hit by a hard puncher as haye is. haye is one of the best right now and he sure brings excitement to the ring, vitali is not just a boxer he is a fighter too. he is nr 1 in heavy so this fight would be a great fight
I still do not forgive Haye, he is a myth, blown out of all proportion by a brilliant PR machine, a third tier gutless pretty boy who besmirches the sport at every opportunity, doing his best Ali impersonation without the wit or class. However, if he does dance with Vtali, he throws his punches fom too far back to concern a fighter of size and conviction.
Vitali will win every second of every round. Haye does not throw enough punches and is not active enough and is scared to engage. Basically Haye is scared to fight and Vitali is the exact opposite. This fight is a mismatch and a total wipeout. Not even competitive. Vitali is just too good for the Reluctant David Haye.
Get the **** over yourself. Haye doesn't need your forgiveness. Vitali will be rightfully favored, but he will have problems. Period.
