Usmanee comes forward landing rights and hooks to the body. Bento is up against the ropes after being involuntarily pushed back with shots, and gets whiplash from a couple of flush right crosses to the face as left hooks dig into his rib cage. BIG right hand by Usmanee after they circle out to the middle of the ring again. Usmanee is bouncing on his toes, as is Bento. Usmanee is waving his left glove, feigning jabs - as is Bento. Mirror images, except when the leather starts flying. Bento throws a jab and is countered with an uppercut to the Adam's apple. Now Bento breaks off their symmetry by going back into his nervous habit of swinging his arms across each other. Good stiff jab by Bento, well timed! Usmanee seems mad about it, and comes forward to hurl a right hand into Bento's face. Usmanee doesn't get too close, though - realizing his best work is done outside.

Round 7

Good left hook by Bento. Usmanee places several jabs and circles to his right with a quick hop. Bento comes forward, gloves up. Bento blocks a few jabs, then loosens his guard to open up and has his head snapped back with a right hand. Usmanee is circling quickly and drawing Bento into quick counter flurries. Uppercuts and hooks combined from Usmanee. They lean together, locking arms. Usmanee tosses out a high right hand and circles to his right. Bento comes forward and blocks most of a combo but takes a left hook below the elbows. Right hand lead punctures the space between his gloves and snaps his head back. Jabs to the guard by Usmanee, and then a whipping right to the head. Usmanee is walked to the ropes but still in control, bouncing off them to put elasticity into his combos. Bento lands a good right and has the commentators whooping anxiously, but Usmanee isn't that hurt. Big counter right straights and uppercuts by Usmanee as he backs up, with Bento just walking into them and having his head rocked back.

Round 8

Right hand by Bento, and a left hook as Usmanee leans casually back into the ropes. Usmanee is getting lazy defensively. The referee screams stop and warns them both about something, not sure what. They weren't close enough to butt and neither threw anything particularly low, can't imagine what the dual warning was for. :conf Bento lands a right to the body. Usmanee drifts back, dropping his shoulders down low and firing lead rights and quick jabs while backing up - not as accurate as before. Bento keeps coming, determined to land his right to the body and cautiously jerking back when Usmanee threatens to counter. Usmanee does land some counter rights from his backward-leaning crouch, but Bento keeps coming and clips him with a 1-2. Usmanee bobs side to side, and then greets Bento coming in with an uppercut. Right hand by Bento, and a left hook followed by an overhand right. Usmanee slipped most of it but is backed up without countering.

Pity round for Bento. :yep

Round 9

Bento is landing to the body some more and charging in excitedly without any of the waiting and arm-swinging periods on the outside. All pressure all the time now. Usmanee isn't comfortable with this new leaf that Bento's turned over and is falling apart a bit. Much sloppier counters backing up, and little zip on them. Usmanee circles slowly to the left with shuffling steps, no more hops. Bento throws hard right hand leads, uppercuts behind his lunging jab, everything but the kitchen sink coming forward. He isn't landing much but has Usmanee on the run. Now Usmanee gets back into a bit of a groove, crouching back and throwing high right hand counters before leaning and bobbing to either side before Bento can answer. Clinch, and Usmanee shoves Bento back a step. Right hand by Bento. Quick combo to the face by Usmanee. Big right hand to the mouth by Usmanee at the bell.
