Good stoppage. That was like 6 clean shots to the left side of Ibragimov's head. He was teeing off.

 

My first thought was that the Mitchel/Ibragimov fight was stopped a bit early. However Mitchel was hurting Ibragimov and I don't see it lasting two more rounds. Mitchel in my opinion is the best heavyweight prospect around.

 

Ibragimov is durable, so this is impressive. That's the kind of aggressive fighting I like to see at heavy.

Mitchell has me hyped up about him. A little lacking in defense and has to fine tune some skills, let's hope he continues to learn.


But he has true heavyweight power, true finishing skills...the way he picked those punches at the end, he was landing at will. Nice.

Would be an excellent fight don't you think?

 

First time I've ever been impressed with Mitchell and that says a lot when I hate 99% of these new american heavyweights esp the former football players and other athletes coming from different sports. But the way Mitchell handled a solid skilled and tough fighter and knock him around isextremely impressive. I really wanna see him again against an even better fighter.

I'm on the Mitchell train.... it might not go far but at least he'll try and throw his hands.

I like Mitchell, and I'm usually skeptical of ex-football guys in the ring. He's got the right attitude to make the transition and to right work ethic to at least make it to contender level.
