He wasn't making it difficult for himself. Lamont made it difficult for him. Lamont really pressurized him and got on the inside and unleashed those body shots. Khan only knows how to deal with that stuff by pulling the other guys head down or running away. His legs are his defense.

Time to learn some inside fighting Amir...........

Considering he's claiming there should have been two knockdowns aswell I think it's likely he's being a butthurt loser.

Stop crying about refs and decisions, if Khan was as good as he claimed this fight shouldn't of even been close, this is LAMONT PETERSON, he spent the majority of the fight running away and taking the heavier more accurate punches, he deserved to lose, bottom line.

The fact that Sky who have a vested interest in Khan winning didn't even argue shows you that they also thought he lost.

First of all congrats to Peterson he is such a nice guy and fought his fight well, I think the move of Khan fighting in his backyard and Khan's camp allowing that ref to ref the fight was wrong, it seemed like he was on Khan's case from the start and deducting 2 points was over the top as they were the reason Khan lost the fight.

A great fight to watch, and I look forward to a re-match in Vegas soon.

The knockdown call was more bogus than either point deduction.

Khan broke the rules, was warned for doing so, continued to do it, and was rightfully deducted points. You can't say "yeah I broke the rules plenty of times, but the ref never told me I was REALLY breaking the rules" and expect sone form of sympathy. That's not how it works.

I completely agree with this. I also think it's kinda unfair to say to Khan to stop pushing, because he just seems almost instinctive for him, he seems to have no idea of what else he can do instead. I'm guessing he's going to be having a lot sparring with people that get right on his chest, so it becomes more natural.

Just watched the fight...great performance from Peterson, but the ref handed him the fight, awful decision making in the last.

Great fight! Massive respect to Peterson, he fully deserved it on the night and came accross well in the interview (unlike Amir!)

Khan only has himself to blame, Peterson didn't know what had hit him in the first round, but once he adjusted and turned it into a scrappy fight Khan had no answer. I actually had Khan 113-112 but can't argue with 1 or 2 rounds the other way. Wasn't impressed with the ref, but I can't wait for the rematch.

Is it just me or did Buffer **** up the scores? I had a cheeky £5 on Khan MD (40/1) and as he read out 'The winner by majority decision...' I was ready to leap out of bed:lol: But was it not a split decision anyway?

Didnt think the ref was that dreadful. Khan has a lot of flaws to work on if he wants to win a couple of rounds from the likes of Mayweather let alone the fight.

Thought Khan won by a couple of rounds.
