That logic doesn't stand up to scrutiny.Would say more about Bradley if he chases the fight now. I still got Khan for that one.
Bradley beats him. I've been saying it for years. Maybe now that will no longer put me in the minority.
Boxing fans are fickle. Don't think Bradley would put on the same quality pressure. Lamont's skills are being grossly underrated. He was ducking, diving, slipping, behind his knees and lowering himself. The ref wrongly told him to keep his head up as it was never below his waist. He was blocking shots, pulling back from shots to take the steam off. Khan was having trouble landing cleanly on this guy. And his speed of pressure and ability to fight smart and throw quality punches allowed for him to have success. This was not the same low octane and sluggish Petterson I saw against Bradley or Ortiz IMHO. I think Khan would control Bradley. Let's not forget Peterson had the reach to have a decent shot in that mid-range to begin with.

Peterson is underrated as an offensive force (despite not having tons of pop) but Bradley is better - as proven h2h - and even more underrated as an offensive force, also despite not having tons of pop.
I'm not sold. I suspect a rematch will occur and Khan will beat Petterson. He won't fight quite as stupidly or get macho and move more. It will be close, but GBP will ensure Khan wins even if it is just as close (Which for some reason I don't think it will, I think Khan will adjust a little). Bradley is rough on the inside, but will he be able to keep the fight long enough on the inside as Petterson did. I honestly think Peterson's height, reach, build, and skills allowed him to alter his style to have success that way. It's not just his offensive force which is underrated, but his defense too. He made Khan miss, slid, blocked, used his shoulders, pulled punches back. All around top-notch performance. I honestly think Khan could control the shorter more stout Bradley more easily, despite Bradley making it a rough affair and night for Khan on the inside. Let's not forget, even though Peterson's build seems well to get after Khan and reach him, he's also far and away quicker than Bradley.
I might favor Peterson in a rematch with Bradley- at the very least, it'd be much more competitive. Lamont's been improving steadily since then, and I feel like Tim hasn't had the same level of growth since that fight. I'm still not sold that Bradley beats Khan because Peterson matches up better physically with Khan than Tim does, but I do think it'd be closer than I initially thought because Khan's inside game hasn't developed like I thought it would. Bradley's going to have a harder time getting there than Peterson did though IMO.
you would favor Peterson in a rematch? are you ****ing ******ed? did you watch that fight? Bradley practically dominated that fight aside from the 3rd round. all Peterson did tonight was walk Khan down and tee off bodyshots when he was close. he abandoned his counterpunching and upperbody movement because he got comfortable plodding toward him and loading up his shots up close seeing as Khan had zero answers fro him there. he won this fight purely on physicality.
