Bradley was the top guy for a long time and he proved it a few years ago. However, he let the Kahn fight slip past him and he hasn't done crap in a while. They all still need to fight for 140lb supremacy. Nothing is settled until they all fight.

 

I always said Bradley would beat Khan. Bradley's inside game would be the difference.

 

:yep and when I said that, I meant physical strength, but he's probably the best in the division also. I always had him number one until he "ducked" Khan and Khan beat Judah impressively. Now I'm seeing Bradley is smart and strong enough to beat him.

3) I don't think he abandoned his upper body movement entirely, he just realized that sticking primarily to that was just getting him tagged with at range. Countering a guy who has an advantage on the outside and can get off first is a foolhardy strategy and Peterson was wise to adjust. He was aggressive without sacrificing his upper body movement when he needed it, and that's a big reason Khan landed less as the fight went on.

4) Peterson has improved every fight since his first big step up in class, and I do think Bradley has essentially stagnated. Thus, I'd expect a much closer fight and one Peterson could win if he fights as inspired as he did tonight.

no fighter should EVER abandon counterpunching you dumb fool. Peterson was up against the one of the two most basic elite fighter in the game (the other being Wlad). it took no effort on his part to block Khan's **** flurries. there were tons of openings and he failed to capitalize on 80% of them. and when he did capitalize, he would neglect to follow up with any other shots, EVEN when Khan was staring right at him with his head hanging flush in the air and hands down, trying to back up and recover from the shock. movement is all there is to Khan's defense. Peterson fought his heart out, but he was lazy about trying to think technically. he's a better schooled fighter than Khan but he didn't take advantage. neither fighter showed anything tremendous today.

If Khan is as preoccupied with Bradley's head as he was with Lamont Peterson's tonight, then I could see Bradley's billy-goat tactics throwing Khan off his game enough to get the decision.

 

I've always said Bradley beats Khan. Bradley acting like a ***** doesn't help though. Maybe after seeing Khan struggle, Bradley will fight him.
