maybe slightly but i dont see him improving much anymore

this is the level khans at and this is the type of fighter he is, he will beat some elites and not others.

I dont know who IS the best and that really doesnt matter, when I was saying his isnt the best is down to the fact he has won trainer of the year so many times in a row. When I thought Nacho could have won it, or Roger could have won it or Steward or Nazim.

The point Im making is the are gapeing holes in two of his top fighters and I dont think Roach is working on these holes enough and they are getting exposed.

I'm not actually attacking the person I quoted. I actually got his sarcasm and added my own sarcasm about the thread title.

because pac became different fighter since second fight, he beat guys way bigger than him and i wasn't expecting 12 rounds at all, not to mention the outcome
i never said peterson is a pushover, he's an elite fighter but still... if khan is that good he should defeat him pretty convincingly

True although is Devon ever coming back to 140 maybe if he loses to Maidana....

Khan needs more experience ALOT more he needs to take his time forget about Floyd or P4P titles and just win every fight he is in.

He is obviously a hard worked but he needs to do the right hard work, I wonder if he realises this (I know its very easy for me to say)

So is Khan an Elite fighter then? Prescott was definately not elite but you can say that was a little unlucky for Khan but what do you call this judging by the fact that Peterson drew with Ortiz and lost to Bradley?

i'd say he is just below the elite level.

i dont compare his presscot fight with these fights because back then he was a face first brawler with a weak chin.

its not just his defense, he fights like an amateur. He has good fast punches but he doesn't know how to throw them well. At least pac is more accurate with his shots than khan. But I agree both is very flawed defensively

There is only so much a coach can do. You need a capable student.

He never has a plan B. Maybe b/c of arrogance or whatever but he always sticks to the same thing. Also, you can't make a well rounded fighter. Khan is never going to have a good defense. He is never going to learn to fight inside. It is too late for all that. Roach just works on their strengths which is good enough to get to the top level but not everybody or basically no other fighter is going to be a Mayweather. A fighter that pretty much knows how to do everything and even learn new stuff in his 30s. That's why that man deserves some damn credit at least for his skillset.
