....i realize that its because of his character. dude is a cocky front runner that looked past peterson. didnt even give peterson any propz after lamont gave him praise and thanked him for the opportunity. he talks ****, run and dont even give credit to his opponent. i mean floyd talk **** but atleast he gives his opponents credit and never underestimate them.

after the fight he shouldve just accepted the rematch., but instead he had to insult the city, country, fighter and ref. the guys a D-Bag plain n simple. no wonder his country hate him (well besides his own people)

And then straight up demanding a rematch, even though he's not the champ! Suck a dick, Khan. Give Prescott a rematch, then maybe Peterson will call you.

I'm a Brit and i was cheering every punch Peterson landed last nightl, Khan is arrogant and money hungry and thats why i detest him, but because he's asian it automatically makes you a racist if you don't like him.

    Thems the rules.

Most People's problem with him stemmed from the fact that he was fighting overmatched opponents on national tv, but talking about himself as one of the best fighters in the world. He made a few ill informed statements about race and his popularity too

I was cringing during the Khan post fight interview - wish he could have just praised Lamont instead of those sour grapes, didn't shed a good light on himself. I'm sure in a few days he will be a bit more level headed if asked the same questions, can't be easy answering questions like that immediately post fight. I hope he tries to avenge his two losses before moving on to anyone else and wish him well.

Every fighter has to have confidence, I'm not gonna knock him for that.

I don't think he's the brightest lad though. Those comments about D.C. after the fight were foolish. He manages to say something stupid in most interviews. Someone should give him some advice in that regard.

Anyway, Kell Brooke will be lickin' his chops. :yep

Khan is a straight up punk and oblivious to the fact that he's a jerk as well. It's to be expected though considering all the money and superstar treatment he received before accomplishing anything at the pro level. Amir can take his whining ass back to the U.K and go fight a bunch of overmatched domestic level fighters. The fighters over in the Western Hemisphere are too rough and tough for him.

he was never consistent with his **** talking though, thats a big problem, if you're going to be a cocky **** be a cocky ****, but khan would always say something stupid and cocky, and then backtrack and say the exact opposite the next day.

Can't top Shaun here. It's all about the personality.
Some fighters can carry off arrogance.Amir ain't one of them.
Used to be seen as a guy who could stem anti-islamic feeling,I had him down as a fine young man,but Brits like their "everymen" and now Amir tweets about dining with Saudi princes, telling Morales to man up and just totally lost touch with his humility.
    Like the fighter,dislike the personality.
Still entitled to one more chance on the boxing front though.

I can understand Khan in a sense that he feels he gave a good gesture by fighting in washington and he gets unfairly treated. He had such long term plans that defeat must have destroyed him inside. This was a fight a lot of his celebrity friends and politicians and whatnot were tuned into and he lost. I think he was.caught up in the moment and enraged. He felt lamont didnt deserve to win so he gave him no credit. I could see Amir looking at the referee towards the end while lamont was going in on him head low, giving an expression of wtf should i do?!

Anywho hes young and naive and devastated by the loss and understood the hard way why people avoid hometown fights.

Btw many brits still hate him for.being asian or a.muslim lol. I was just reading comments on news articles.and.youtube and the majority of brits were cheering and usually mention him being a **** or terrorist muslim blah blah..
Ricky hatton was loved by the nation, when he trash talks its all fun and excitement. When Lhan does it its arrogance. When hatton got KTFO by pacquaio he didnt even show his face.post.fight..he left..
