Old and shot with good hand speed. Hopefully he retires but I doubt he will. If he is going to continue on the he needs to let his ****ing hands go bc he is still fast as hell even though his reflexes are not there. If he can use his hand speed and get them out of there then do it instead of trying to be cute and getting knocked out late in the fight .
Just plain sad and depressing. Its like watching a slow as **** zombie with still very fast hands. The guy he was fighting was a no hoper corpse and he still could not get him out of there. Saddest thing to me though is the way he behaves in the ring pretending to have some of his old "swagger" but it looks so slow and silly. Honestly if he would keep his damn hands up and work behind a stiff jab and stayed of the ropes he could still win ceirtan fights. Never going to happen though and i just want him to retire before he gets seriously hurt .... again.
I only watched a few rounds of it but his hands are still remarkably fast. It's painful to watch him try all his old manouvers but pulling them off at literally the speed I could. I'm perfectly happy for him to take fights like this (rack up some monies) and/or go back to HBO as a commentator.
He looked like an old, shot Roy Jones. Still a different level to people like Alexander... just keep whippin up on bums Roy... you have eared it!! (and i am being serious)
looked amazing but he always does against bums, then he steps up and gets destroyed, just like against Sugar Joe
Just watched the fight now. Footwork is pretty bad and he really needs to let his hands go more. Though i could see him punching himself out if he tried. Still hes doing what he loves, what makes him happy.
