cotto-khan @147 who wins?

It'd be like watching a marathon.

 

Yea I thought I was being funny, Seriously tho I think Cotto wins a convincing UD and always have.

 

I think Cotto would kill him.
We know now that Khan can not fight on the inside.
If he thought Petersons shots hurt, the effects of a Cotto left hook to the body would be crippling.

Khan also does not hit close to hard enough to keep Cotto of him.
Mismatch of epic proportions.

 

I think Cotto might stop him. Khan's chin isn't the greatest, we don't know how it will stand up to the bigger fighters and punchers at 147 and above, and Khan revealed last night that he can't fight inside. Cotto can. And I don't think Khan has the physical strength to really keep Cotto at bay or stop him from roughing him up in close- Cotto was successfully pushing back and out-muscling Margarito in the clinches. If he could do that to somebody like Margarito, I'm sure he could do it to Khan as well.

I also don't think Khan carries enough power up to 147 to seriously discourage or trouble Cotto. Cotto by TKO 9-11

 

Cotto(e) cuts the ring off on Amir and rapes him with the left hook to the body like it was the 140 days.

 

Having never fought at 147 I think its a big ask , as Cotto is the real deal .

Lets put it this way nobody at 140 touches Cotto, and very few real 147 fighters have a chance either.

 

Anybody that ever gave Khan a prayer with Cotto is on PCP.

 

PCP might help Khan to last a few more rounds though, that said i still think hed get killed.

 

Cotto by whatever way he feels like winning.

I'd favor the Quintana who fought Cotto over Khan as well.

 

Cotto breaks every rib in Khan's body and finishes him around round 8 by death.

 

Cotto by KO in 9th, left hook to the body.

Khan doesn't have enough power to keep people off of him at 140, he won't have more power at 147 and will probably lose his speed. Big punchers at 147 will have a field day on him. Ortiz would take him out in 4.

 

We don't know if Khan can take a punch at 147 but he is proving that his jaw isn't totally glass. With his movement and ability to get in and out he would have to be careful and not allow Cotto to get close. Cotto fades in the later rounds so that is an advantage for Khan. Seeing how Lamont Peterson was able to get close and land bombs. I'd give the edge to Cotto. If Cotto lands like that on Khan its time to say goodnight.

 

Khan's handspeed troubles Cotto for the first 3-4 rounds. I suspect, however, that by the middle rounds, say rounds 5 through 7, Cotto's body work begins to take its toll and he, unlike Maidana, finishes Khan off in the championship rounds.
