even though a change in his camp was needed i hope he didn't leave on bad terms with Jack. I'm real big on loyalty and i hope Pavlik had some respect for the man who took him to a championship.

off topic but i remember when Hatton did his old trainer dirty after the Mayweather loss and i was disgusted with the lack of loyalty shown by Hatton. got rid of his old trainer only to replace him with a crack head.

Pavlik brought the bad will from Loew on himself by making him find out that he'd been fired through the press.

 

Listening to Pavlik's interview now, and he still looks like a jackass. He also seems to be making stuff up, implying that Loew was the one who dumped Miguel Diaz because he was intimidated by his advice. Pretty sure the story that came out was that Pavlik wanted to dump Diaz because of what he was charging as a cutman, and that he thought his incompetent buddy could do just as good a job.

 

no loew did not throw pavlik under the bus...i think it is the other way around..when a fighter wants a new trainer he does not tell that trainer day before he goes to ny that nothing will change you are my trainer and then goes to ny and advertises to the world that he is leaving his old trainer and thats how loew findas out. People have to remember that even though pavlik got to go as far as he did he had a certain trainer take him there and who was with him since he was 9..all the stuff that happened since then the trainer kept quiet and lied for pavlik and was loyal to his fighter.. Well that should go both ways as far as having respect for your trainer and letting him know what your decision was before u let the world know..all those things that have happened with pavlik or rumors have been true and loew stuck by him and lied for him..dont you think that trainer should be respected a little better.

come on and u believe him..just like he said he is not an alcoholic...he drinks every night..and if u knew what you were talking about then you should remember that arum said he thinks kelly should stay with loew in an article not too long ago.. and besides all that even if they did give pavlik that he better leave loew than how come its been months and he still didn't say anything to loew.. please you are one of those people who believe what you want instead of the facts
