I don't think I've seen a single positive post from you - why do you bother posting here? Surely you realise the negativity you wallow in isn't good for the soul?
I tell it how it is. What I have said in this thread regarding the Hall circus over the next few yrs on PPV is spot on. Deny it all you like pal.
Hall will have a bigger PPV base than the rugby league players given AFL is Australia wide plus he played for Swans which gives him the NSW casual fans as well. I wouldn't pay to watch it but would probably pop down the pub if it was convenient to view him knocking out a somaon doorman who weighs 150kgs with a 5-22 record atsch
Has it been confirmed that Barry hall will headline a PPV? I would pay $50 to see a decent Aussie PPV card, if Hall is on it, great.....
mmmm. let me think. had a good amature career, played 1st grade NRL, played for his country...heavyweight.. fought a pro fight. got ko'd. barry hall? carl webb. just cause big barry had a few am fights, doesnt suggest anything other than he can hold his hands correctly, like big carl..... .
Hall's going about it the right way, he's said he hopes to have his firts fight halfway through next year, so it's not like he's rushing to get on an undercard to squeeze some bucks out of a dumb public like others have. The fact that he's been in training for a couple of months already, has said he knows he has a long way to go, and has stated he won't debut until midway through next year tells me he respects the sport and isn't simply looking to parlay his AFL career into a moneymaker.

when bawwy announces all the money he earns from his pro fights go to charity, then i'll consider what you say is correct. until then.... atsch
whats that got to do with his decision to box pro. he can play VFL and box in melbourne. relocating to sydney is not nessesary if he makes an extra $ boxing. so im cynical as to why he wants to box. if he doesnt donate all the loot to charity, then he is in it for the money. no harm in that. but dont try and say he loves the sport etc, etc, etc. hes like every other footy player that went into it for the money. except mundine, who actually did start out with a dream. which now has faded into a ambition to build a bank balance.
You're right Carl Webb Queensland Golden Gloves champ KTFO by Scott Lewis. Dunny Bill beat Lewis. Hope Hall does better than Carl.
