More skilled former Olympian: Andre Dirrell or Amir Khan

Case and point, Bernard Hopkins was a symbol of skills, Roy Jones Junior was a symbol of talent.

Although i think Roy's skills are a little underrated. He had great boxing IQ.

 

I'm voting Khan...
Very skilled, but not enough power and a shaky chin.
Dirrell has extreme talent, but lacks heart (to say the least) and commitment.

Also Dirrell never won a title, and his best win was being knocked out by AA.

 

Dirrell is a bad joke for boxing,he should have been a sprinter or an actor,he is not a fighter.i truly dislike Khan but how the hell can you compare those two.as amateurs Khan won silver in Athen,Dirrell didn't make it to the final.As pros it's not even funy,Khan is a multiple division champion,defeated five world champions oppose to Dirrell whos biggest win is Victor Oganov.Dirrell has no skills,if he had any he would have had a belt or some good names to prove it till now.Just face it,Michigan is a good state regarding profesional fishers,i bet you have several bass champions over there,not fighters.

Dirrell is more skilled without question, while Khan is more talented without question. Both still have pretty major mental makeup issues - Khan with his ring intellect, Dirrell with his lack of willingness to actually fight.

 

Dirrell showed a lot of progress going into the Abraham fight. Khan on the other hand seems to have the same problems he did before.

 

Dirrell actually has the athletics talent to become a good boxer.

But my god, I have never seen such a ***** in the ring in my life. The guy creamed his pants in the ring. Shouldn't try to become a boxer with zero heart. Zero.

I think Dirrell is more skilled but one thing Khan has that Dirrell doesn't. Balls. It takes balls to fight Maidana, fight Peterson in his hometown, and call out the #1 and #2 P4P fighters today in a weightclass above him. Dirrell won't even fight the top two guys in his division. Dirrell is very skilled but he's like wasted talent today. To think he could've been in the super six final but he punked it all away.

 

Dirrell is FARRRRRRRR better technically. Khan has faster hands and better physical gifts but Dirrell is so damn fluent and knows how to fight on the inside/outside/trade/move etc....Dirrell is way more complete and hella underated and slept on here
