Not only should Lamont get top dollar for the rematch, but he better have a say who the ref is. Khan will want to get a ref who'll break up every time Lamont goes inside and Khan will win the fight easily from the outside. Steve Smoger would be ideal. Lamont could also use a better cutt man. His eye started closing early in the fight.

the general rule is that if you win the titles in a close fight you offer the ex-champ a rematch.

floyd did the same for castillo.

Wtf? Good close fights demand immediate rematches, and the public wants it. Lamont seems like a people's champ so he should say YES to rematch.

Why? He'd beat him again if they fought.

Shyeah, really. We definitely don't want another horrible, shitty fight, like last night, stinking up the place. It's bad for boxing!

i think we can officially conclude that OP is a phaggot who doesnt like good boxing fights and instead would rather watch 'boxing 90210' while he does his nails and licks another mans anus

It so appears as if Peterson fans are afraid that Khan will knock out their hero! LOL! Yes, they are afraid, as they should be. Khan said that Vegas would be fine, but Khan also said that Peterson was afraid to fight him in England, and that is the truth. Peterson refused to fight Khan in England, if not for Peterson's referee he would have lost. Khan was cheated out of one for two knock downs by ref and his ref took away two points. It will be protested, decision should be overturned, but a rematch will happen anyway. Khan will knock Peterson out in the rematch, mark my words...............well..............that's what Peterson fans are afraid of...........LOL! They are afraid.................very afraid.......................they know who really won that fight, but it was a good enough fight for a rematch anyway. Helenius will rematch Chisora as well........................

Man, you punk *****-ass ******. Khan's *****-ass couldn't knockout my sister. It's obvious that you didn't watch the fight, because if you did, you would have seen this so-called skillful boxer getting hit in every round, running all night long with the worst defense in the division. And what kind of elite fighter gasses after 6 rounds. Shut the **** up you *****-ass troll. Peterson by KO in the rematch. And I wouldn't give flying **** where this fight happens.

Again, this forum proves to be full of people with very strange opinions.

Khan fought Peterson in his home town. Putting his titles on the line.

Khan lost narrowly, no matter what you think. Personally, I could see how Peterson came away with the titles, but could also make points for Khan to retain them.

The fact that the scorecards had Peterson only win due to points deductions, puts a sour note on the whole fight. He didn't 'win' the titles did he? He was given them.

I've already watched the fight twice because I was too bleary eyed the first time to take it all in. I noticed LP was leading in with his head, I thought at the time Khan was pushing down more than he should, but after watching it again, I fully understand why.

During the fight you can forgive the ref for giving it the way he did though, as he only gets the chance to see it 'live' not the fortuity of replays like us.

    Rematch is definitely deserved.

However, in my opinion, if I were LP, would I offer it? No. Look after no.1

The sad thing is this, Bradley ducked Khan, now Khan probably needs Bradley and won't get a thing out of him.

Khan needs another fight quick, maybe Alexander or something? Assuming he wins that, he may get another shot at a title mid 2012. If there's no rematch clause, I have a feeling Khan may have to do things the hard way.

Will Froch keep yappin when SOG knocks him the fugout ?

Imagine if Lafonda just stepped back lil bit when A mere con was acting like a C level bum on the ropes ?
