The usual degenerate cliche ****s are out in force. Yes well ****ing done, have a smile. Khan took a loss. You pathetic ****s moaning on what he said. He has every right to air his opinion. The ref was a **** and the point deduction uneccessary

He will take Peterson in a rematch. Rebuild and keep moving forward.

It was funny when, after all the touring around washington before the fight saying how much he loves the place and how the people are great etc etc as soon as the fights over he turns round and says completely deadpan.."thats what happens when you come to DC.. you get decisions like this".

How were the points uneccessary??? this is boxing not ****in wrestling, of course he deserved the warnings and points deductions. Sore loser, how was the ref that bad, he gave khan a knock down when it was clearly a push, so not that bad eh??! And I did smile, and laughed my ****in head off, thanks very much, much enjoyable

The point deductions were fair and in truth he gave Khan an awful lot of leeway.

    I can't agree I'm afraid.

I think Peterson won that fight fair and square.

If you think Khan didn't deserved to be questioned for his more than constant fouling, something even the Sky commentary stated he should have been, well fair enough.

Personally I think the best man won it on the night. Ref aside, I'd give more credit for much of Peterson's, dictating of the pace, forcing the action, over Khan's back peddling which at times was arguably simply running. That's not to say Khan didn't engage at times, he did, he fought a tough old fight too.

All things aside, yes, the right man on the night got the nod, in my humble opinion.

Wow, have been in Barcelona all weekend, just home and didn't get to see if hear of the fight. Must watch it now and see it for myself.

He ran like a *****, after the fight acted like a ***** and is still bitching a day later. Amir Khan is a 24 carat *****.

if he was just bull shitting and trying to put a good spin on a disaster then I could maybe forgive him but the sad thing is he actually believes what he is saying.

also the reporter, what a joke he is. he was shoulder deep in Khan, at the end of the interview he said

"you've probably gone up in stature as far as the american fans are concerned, there was huge support for you in the arena last night"

i had to skip that back and listen again, he is either taking the **** or didn't watch the fight.

For me the thing that he gets most wrong in that interview is his 'it's bad for boxing' comment. Kind of understandable I guess from his perspective especially if he hasn't had a chance to actually watch the fight. But if anything that night was a great advert for boxing. Everyone who watched is buzzing for the rematch.

With the card delay business - that was most likely to do with questioning the judge who'd given it to Khan by 5 rds if they were being serious.

It would just be really handy for Khan to realise that a lot of people think he scewed himself over. It was already a much rougher and sloppier performance than he promised as it was, he messed things up himself. I think he still deserved the win but he has to accept blame.

If he's just going to delude himself into thinking that he's completely the vicitim here and everyone in the world apart from the Evil Ref & co disagree, then he's never going to address those mistakes and will keep on making them.

I hope he comes back from this, I like Khan as a fighter. But he really does verbally set himself up for a barracking some times, and in this case for a loss.

    Yeah...caught that. Churlish and ungracious.

I met a lad from Bolton once whilst on holiday in Australia, he told me he went to school with khan and lived by him, let's just say he didn't have a single good word to say about him.
I like watching khan's fights, but I can't listen to him talk, I find him really patronising.
That what he said (in the heat of the moment) about DC post fight was bad enough but for him to be going on chatting **** to sky a day later is shocking IMHO, he's crying about the judges when 1 of them scored it in his favour by 5 points taking into account his 2 point deductions, I think that's worse than the other 2 scoring it close, he needs to pull his head out of his arse, disrespectful to lamont, disrespectful to the people of DC, shut up moaning, go away and work on your mistakes and get ready for the rematch
