Why is it that whenever there's a major fight/story involving a British fighter the BBC always ask Frank for his opinion? And they make a bloody big deal out of what he says. Like atm his comments about Khan is one of the main stories on BBC Sport (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/16139908.stm) Do they not realise that Frank is not exactly an impartial commentator? It was the same with Haye....David would do something and the Beeb would ask Wazza's opinion :huh Frank has previous with Khan, Haye, Hatton and Calzaghe yet the BBC still give him he platform to spout his biased bollocks atsch
I agree that Frank is more than happy to knock any fighter who ain't in his stable. However those particlular points in that article are pretty accurate. Khans defence is still a problem
a journalist? a well known trainer with no immediate interest? Tris Dixon? They get him on 5 Live every time a British fighter fights in an international fight and Nicky Campbell licks up every second of Fwank basically running down and destroying any British fighter he doesnt have an interest in. Everything Frank says would sees Khans match making not include good fight after good fight. Under GBP, his potential is maximised. Under Frank we saw what happened with Hatton and Calzaghe. He always gives them the big fights too late and they leave. I think Calzaghe left after Kessler, Hatton after Tszyu and Khan after MAB.
The BBC are a joke , the fact that they allowed channel 5 to show terrestrial boxing instead of outbidding them to secure it, shows that since Harry carpenter retired they have lost any interest in our sport. And why do they as fwank his opinion he has nothing to do with them unless he gets the chance to chat **** about fighters who are not with him .
Because he is someone people know, someone's number they have and was involved with Khan. No mystery.
