    If he would have fought Margarito instead and outclassed him, they'd be saying the same thing. Marg was a nobody, and Floyd ducked the true WW champ Baldomir.

    It would be funny though if gayweather is accused of ducking baldomir. Imagine if people are saying he ducked victor Ortiz. That would be laughable.

    On the other hand, no one would be laughing if someone said he ducked margarito, cotto or even williams when these guys were lords of the welter.


    It would have been better if he just fought all of them instead of cherry picking.

    Margarito and Cotto were never lords at Welter. Margarito lost to Paul Williams. Cotto never even mentioned Paul Williams name.


    Margarito was 2nd best fighter in the division for a few months before Mosley destroyed him though.

    Dummies? if Mayweather fought Marquez the odds would be 20-1 and justifiably so. Are you saying the odds maker should factor in Pacquiao just isnt that good?

    oh and please tell me how Marquez would beat Baldomir at Welterweight.

    *******s that moan about this fight forget that baldomir was the linear champion. They dont know that because they have only been watching boxing since DLH-Pac. If mayweather never fought baldomir when he was the number one guy to fight at 147 senior *******s would have gave a mission to the junior *******s to troll as much as possible about mayweather ducking baldomir
