Andre Ward is going to box circles around Carl Froch...

There will probably not be any circling in this fight, Ward will get straight to the point and go inside Carls mid-range comfort zone and start going to work.

I think Ward's going to make it an ugly inside fight for the most part with sporadic outside fighting and jumping in with quick, well-timed shots.

 

Bottom line it's the number one explanation he'll give because of the way (atleast from my point of view) Ward will fight, and it's a perfectly valid complaint ie that Ward did not want to trade etc. but you're right nothing has even happened yet and this thread is turning more into a post fight thread then a pre fight thread so i'll leave it at that.

 

Ward can beat Froch on the inside or out. I really can't see a way for Carl to win this one, hopefully I am overrating Ward but I think he is damn good

Good post. Froch is a damn good fighter, and he could make this a rough fight. Ward needs to just stay composed and he should win. I expect Ward to try to box from the outside to begin this fight. He can certainly make this a close quarters encounter if he wants to. He's a very clever fighter, that can fight in a multitude of different styles. Froch has become adept at dealing with a variety of styles. It should be an interesting fight, I'll take Ward though via decison.

Let's not kid ourselves, Froch will still win rounds especially if Ward couldn't shutout Abraham and Bika. Ward is very damn talented but to say he wins with nothing but ease just sounds foolish to me. If he does I'll eat my crow but I doubt that happens. I see Ward pivoting and leading well with shots and countering much more than move around the ring. He stands in front of his opponent but Froch gets wild and overeager many times which would be his downfall against Ward who is slick and counter well but not scared to get hit.

 

I agree. Froch is better than folks think he is and he's had excellent competition.

I expect Ward to win, but I doubt he dominates Froch.

 

The UK ain't far behind in the fat-ass department, *******, and **** knows we're light years ahead in the dental department.

I'm expecting the fight of the year, doubly so considering it's the S6 final. If Ward comes to fight, Froch won't disappoint.
