I mean Khan, I don't have to bring up any other fighters.

You have to be kidding right?

I second that. I never liked Amir earlier, but after watching his fights against Maidana & Peterson, i've become his fan.

Ofcourse he isn't the perfect boxer, but he's got amazing speed and athleticism. And no, he ain't no chicken.

A lot of people can't stand Froch, and his talent as a fighter is constantly underrated. Yes, Khan is a flawed but entertaining fighter. But so is Berto. That doesn't stop people from getting in his ****. Let's not act like Khan is the only guy who is criticized. When guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao are getting criticized for their abilities and level of opposition, then anyone can. Khan was knocked out cold by a massive underdog, and just got beaten around the ring by another massive underdog. When you combine this with all the hype and attention he gets, as well as the stuff that comes out of his mouth, it's no wonder he gets a lot of backlash.

    No, I'm really not.

Leaning and pushing are both common tactics used by rangy fighters throughout history. I know we're not talking about other fighters, but I just gave you some pretty obvious examples relating to what you were talking about.

He gets far too much criticism on ESB for some reason. Every second poster call him glass chinned or chicken hearted without realizing that no glass chinned / chicken hearted boxer can survive a Maidana onslaught.

    :deal

But when he did survive and win against Maidana, the same people who called him a glass chinned, weak hearted fighter said he blatantly RAN.

So I guess, Khan is a glass chinned, no hearted runner. As proven by his two barn burners on regular HBO in Peterson and Maidana.

Do you not see your boy has no infighting ability and has to stop the action with illegal tactics. Khan kills the ebb and flow. I would not call them barnburners.

Khan is neither a coward nor a glass chinned fraud.

He is, however, grossly overrated. His handpseed blinds many on here to the fact that he's terribly inaccurate, cannot fight on the inside, and moreover STRUGGLES MIGHTILY WITH FIGHTERS WHO CAN.

For ****sake, no one said Khan has to be Rocky Marciano on the interior but can't he and Roach divine a strategy other than pinning his gloves to his ears and eating one uppercut or chopping hook after another? Damn. :-(

He was pulling down on the back of his head. Straight illegal tactis many many many times. This is not fiction.

He's not "my boy". I've grown to become a fan of his because he entertains.

I've never said he had an inside game, have I? He's quite obviously flawed on the inside, it doesn't take a trained eye to see he is!

I do agree that him pulling down on peoples heads is a far more legitimate foul than him pushing off. And historically, there are greats who applied the same type of tactics to win fights, as Ali, Lewis and others.

A lot of people hate him because they picked him as a china-chinned hype job who would never achieve anything after the Prescott KO and they can't stand being proven wrong.
