I see this.. Carl is good enough to win a few rounds.. But if he cannot adjust and starts lookig lost in there its curtians...

I will be waiting to repost this one.. Ward has sneaky power.. it makes his opponent not want to come forward in fights towards the later rounds..

Froch has better reach and lengh.. he has a great jab.. his keys will be controlling distance.. If he does then its a fight...! he needs to keep Ward at Bay..

If he doesn't he gets counter over the slow jab and loses the distance war to Ward who has better foot speed..

Yes you already know if Andre can get in and out and ultimately right in Froch's chest its not going to be good for Froch...

I think your assessment is off. Ward will try to dominate Froch on the inside in my opinion.

 

Ward will keep away from Mid Range, he would either be out of range or be smothering Froch on the inside. Ward is one of the best at this, he dismantled Kessler in this fashion.

However, I reackon as the fight goes on, Froch a well conditioned fighter would be able to get success on the inside, then Ward will just try to box circles as OP suggested.

No way will Ward stay Mid range to slug it out. When Froch starts getting his way, which will happen at some point, Ward gonna get KO or hurt.

 

Im not sure Ward is gonna let Froch get his way.. and if he does.. It wont be for long streches..

 

Froch is a well conditioned athlete that can go the full 15 rounds, plus he got that chin and he thinks he is indestructable. He will push the action at some point and will get his way, because he can take them risks with the kind of attributes he has.

The attributes such as lack of speed, and skill, will mean he will have to take them risks.
