Robert Garcia's not a bad guy. Shame about some of his fighters. Makes a good point here, what else is out there for Marquez besides Pacquiao and Mayweather? Pointless fighting either again for various reasons. As much as I love to watch him fight, I wouldn't be too sad if he retired. I know Castillo won that fight, people try to play it off, and act like it never happen, some even go as far as saying May won with little trouble and bring up his arm. Hurt or mot, May lost that 1st fight. I saw that fight, and I'll remember that till 2100 and and even longer, you can fool the casual fans, and the fan boys who only fallow one fighter can fool themselves, but true Boxing fans know the truth.

Another poster simply mentioned a popular view he shared on the correct outcome of that fight in order to gauge Marquez's talents today; he wasn't arguing the point, and you were the one who brought the issue up as a discussion point in itself. Soto is wide as hell when he punches; he wouldn't last 12 with Marquez. He offers no monetary gain and is ranked far below Marquez's level by everyone but you, so there's no point in fighting him. You don't duck people below you.
