Carl will get outboxed...his only chance is for a KO and he hasn't shown his power lately..

Ward has better boxing ability,Froch has much more hurtin power than Ward.There will only be one person getting stopped if a TKO happens and he ain't proclaiming to be the Son of God.
I can't say I'm hugely confident but I hope Froch puts some pain on this guy.He's never been to the well(and I acknowledge it's commendable that he hasn't had to) but he's going into waters that he's never been in before.Froch has a deep well to go to,does Ward?
I know he has the skill to stay safe,but I hope Carl drags him into a shootout.

 

No personal ref needed... Using Taylor is a poor example.. Dude was fading due to conditioning.. so of course he was getting walked down..

Ward is most Def live and has not fadded in any fight on record..

Ward is going to be electric all 12 rounds.. that means he is showing all the tools, tricks, and keeping Froch off Balance..

Almost a mirror to my own thoughts.Froch needs to stay within 3 points,match him for dirt,then around 8 start doing everything to rile him and get him into macho mode.If he does that I think he can stop him late,as long as he can get under Ward's skin.Let him feel what it's like to be outfouled and butted then let his(Froch) iron chin,inside game and long uppercuts make the difference.
Watching Ward v Kessler and it's a big,big ask.The guy is good.
But it won't be the walkover some people are suggesting.

 

P.S. Last Ref in Ward fight did Ward no favors.. he wouldn't let Ward get inside to fight.. he would break them anytime their bodies touched.. even though one fighters hands were free.. (Ward)

Can't wait to see how Ward handles an angry caveman Carl chasing him down and laying the combos nonstop for half a round. He can't smother 'em all, counter them all.

Froch slammed Dirrell to the canvas for less than what Ward will do to him in their fight. He'll get frustrated & aggressive enough to either hit a home run or get DQ'ed - or close to it. He's not letting that trophy go without going nuts to "do anything to win" as he said in Face Off.

I've read some posts saying he has no inside game.
I'm not saying he's Duran but to say he has none at all is totally wide of the mark.People said he couldn't box but he did a better job on Abraham than anyone.Not saying that logic applies,point is,he has a deep well and more attributes than he's given credit for.Some people are talking as if it's Leonard v Mayorga here and it's a fallacy.Ward has more natural ability but he's not on a different planet here,Carl has enough to make a real fight here and more.

Ward will out box Froch but I do think Froch will have his moments but should be pretty decisive from Ward !

 

If Froch can land the big hits and do damage Ward then Froch can definitely win it. Listen to the talk and the face off, Froch has no fear because he knows Ward can't KO him. He won't hold back, said himself he's going for the KO and any big hits landed will slow Ward right down.
Ward needs to be smart and make intelligent moves, not get drawn in to a standing trade because Froch is definitely tougher in that regard. A points victory for Ward is very probable but when a fighter has Froch's mentality you never know what will happen.

 

I just fear for some controversy ending. Way to many off them this days.....Froch jabs very well and his reach are huge........I.l guess Ward wants to fight at the inside/half distance, Froch is very strong and will try to handle Ward.................oh i fear for controversy again....................................

 

If Abraham and Bika were able to make it kind of a "close fight" in the first couple of rounds, Froch can do better than a few rounds. I'm not saying Ward is not favorite going into the fight, I'm saying that thinking Ward will KO or shutout Froch are completely delusional.
