Love to see this, Woodhouse is very good at 140 and I'd give him a good chance at the upset here, styles should gel well and both are hungry fighters.

Anyone else like to see it?

Theophane bit too polished for Curtis I feel. 8-4 Theophane.

Good fight. Woodhouse could pressure "Hoodstar" and win some of the early rounds, but Theophane would figure him out and win a fairly wide decision.

I'd like to see it, Theophane's open to left hook and Curtis throws it well and with intentions to stop his man. Be a good match up!

As Mand says would be a good fight. I think Curtis would stand a very good chance of winning. I can't see Theophane stopping him and Curtis has a good enough workrate and enough judge friendly punches to run him close on the cards.

:good As it showed on Saturday Judges didn't like Theophane's work i think Curtis pressuring and working to body and head a little like Peterson did with chopping punches to temple/eardrum would really hurt Theophane and panic him. Ashley just never impresses me, He's decent i think that's it decent..

I don't blame them for not coming on the way some posters treat them

Yep and Arnie's probably had the worst of it, Nelson kinda asked for it at times. Arnie just cracked on with his work and people created aliases just to have digs at him as a trainer. Not on...

ive spoken to theophane (well argued) about giving me a shot at his title next as he has a voluntery defence next and he said ive got no chance of him fighting me because i dont deserve a shot, im gutted i believe i deserve a chance but he said he wont defend against me and thats that!!! so i called him a ****ing paper champion which i dont think helped my chances! but watch this space i think something could happen pretty soon, im very confident ive got the style to beat him, ill fight him like murphy did but i wont run out of gas, i think id stop him late on, there where parts in the murphy fight when he looked **** scared and didnt want to be in there, i think id have a great chance in this one:bbb

  13. I agree.

Theophane looked poor against Murphy, who had only fought once in the past year, in turn against a very poor, weak opponent..... and took the fight on very short notice.

It seems to me that Theophane overrates himself, he's done alright taking fights in America and so on, but that doesn't make him a world level operator by default.

    50-50 fight for me.

Not a terrible fight by any means.

I would have to favour Theophane tho. He has beaten better opposition and has a better skill set IMO. But Woodhouse would put it on him and make it competitive.

I would have Theophane on points, say 8-4, 9-3.

Imo Theopane spendimg most of his career in America has helped him polish his style but on the other hand he looks to have developed 'the sparring partner' mentality, when Murphy applied the pressure he went into survival mode and didn't really look like he wanted to take any chances to win the fight. Curtis might not be as experienced but i believe he hasn't got the fear factor that Theopane has when the pressure is on and this could help him battle to a points decision. Curtis is also a big light welter and could keep the pressure up for the entire contest.
